I really must say that this is THE MOST THOROUGH C2C video that I’ve ever watched! And you did it Left Handed! Thank you soooo much! Out of all of the other C2C videos that I’ve watched, yours is definitely my favorite.
You amaze me how you can crochet right and left handed! That is such a gift! Thank you for these videos! I chain 5, chain 2 but that’s how I learned and I am a loose crocheter so it helps me. I sent this to family and friends! You offered great tips along the way too that are valuable to C2C. Thank you so much for sharing your talents!
All these years not being able to figure out C2C because I'm lefthanded, and Angelina shouts you out, and puts your link up, very nice tutorial, had no issues following you at all, thank you 👍
Thank you kindly for this video. I’ve been trying to learn this for a long time. Your video helped right away and I’ve made a square. Thank you. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🙏
I tried at least six other tutorials and couldn't understand for the life of me how to do it. You explained everything perfectly thank you so much I get it now!!
I always recommend your video whenever someone is looking for a beginner tutorial for C2C. Your video is the only one that made sense to me and I thank you for that. Being left handed was even harder. You make it so easy with your slow explanation and that chart, that helped immensely . Thank you. I would have given up completely.
I have been wanting to learn stitch for a long time. I've tried three other videos and yours was the only one that I reall understood!!! thank you! and thank you for making it Inclusive! I'm excited to try more projects with this stitch!!
I am so thankful I found your tutorial for c2c left handed. I have watched others also for lefties and it still didn't make sense. I watched yours and it is amazing now I can do c2c!!!
I'm a brand new crocheter, and being left handed always made it hard to learn back in the days before internet LOL. I have knitted all of my life and do blankets for Project Linus up here in Canada. I wanted to crochet so that I could get blankets done quicker. Still a lot to learn, but have wanted to try C2C from the beginning, and yours is the only video I found that totally makes sense, and thank you so much for showing the stitch marker method! I now know exactly where to go for the next row, and I'm working on my first project now. I'll come back to the video when it's time to decrease the other side! Thanks again.
So glad it helped you. I am naturally a lefty myself. So I know what you mean. I initially learned to crochet right handed because my teacher was right handed. It was so awkward! So glad I eventually found someone to show me left handed! It was way before internet! Lol
Yes back in the day in the 60's I didn't have any leftie friends to show me! One question - I noticed that when you DC in the chain you go under two loops, from the videos I've watched to learn to crochet I'm only going under one. Is that just a personal preference 8r does it have an impact on how the stitch looks?
@@YarnjoyPodcastI finished my first baby blanket, it's ready for donation to Project Linus! You made it so easy for a beginner, I've went several others this way to watch. Thank you again!
Thank you for explaining everything so well! I’m a first time crocheter and I’m making my sister a baby blanket for her first baby. I love the colors, how soft the yarn is, and the complete instructions. We all need a grandma like you.
So glad you enjoyed the video. Sadly, I am not a grandma yet. But I am hoping for someday. Would love to see your finished blanket. Send me a pic to my email: tschorp4@gmail.com when you are finished. Or if you are on Facebook, I have a group page that you can join called Yarnjoy Podcast
Thank you so much, I’m pretty new to crochet and I’ve finally managed to do C2cC with your tutorial..I’m on my 10th row now & chuffed to bits. sending love from avery snowy uk. 😊😊😊
Just watched this video and it was a HUGE help! Thank you - you are an excellent teacher! I’ll also be using that trick where you pinch the chain to remember which stitch to double crochet into. That’s a great time saver.
Thank you for a wonderful tutorial. Your instructions are clear, and you go slowly enough that I can see what you are doing. I have been wanting to learn this stitch for a long time, but could never quite figure out written versions of it. The flip of the first stitch was what I was missing. First grandchild is on the way. She is now going to have a C2C blanket. 😁❤️
Thank you. Excellent tutorial. I understand and now can decide what I want to make. I’d like to do a small blanket with a design in it. I think it’s called bar graph But I had to learn the stitch first. Really appreciate this. Many regards.
P. S.you are truly left hand crocheting. And not using a video software that simply flips your right handed work. It’s a nice trick but it can be very confusing. It’s only a mirror image so orientation is wrong. For me. I have watched so many C2C videos and I appreciate them all. But it is so time consuming . And, I finally someone that’s really really teaching and is excellent at it. Also writing with your left hand. Lol. That what I watch for. Thanks again 🥰❤️
@@gobabe2396 , yes I am truly left handed. If you notice in the right handed version, it appears as if my wedding ring is on my right hand because the video is flipped. Have to post the flipped versions of my videos because the majority of people are right handed.
Yarnjoy Podcast did my first square 18 inches. I loved it. Going to try making 2 panels for a shirt. We will see. Thank you though could not follow others and was glad to see you did a tutorial. It just made so much sense. Also sure it helped since I am left handed as well.
Thank you for the lovely video on c2c. I did notice on your graph that you started marking on the right, wouldn’t that be on the left for us “lefties”? Surely that would affect it if we do a graphine with pictures and colour changes etc?
I had to go back and look at my video. Since I was just making a solid color swatch, it doesn't matter which corner you start from. If you are making a graphgan with a design on it, then yes, lefties would start in the bottom left-hand corner, following the chart diagonally up to the top right hand corner. You can see me doing that in my other tutorial where I am teaching how to make a c2c graphgan piece. Here is a link to that tutorial: th-cam.com/video/r4ze24kCcaw/w-d-xo.html
I am a left handed woman, and when I see right handed people do it, my brain switched the right handed person to a left handed person, I guess left or right handed, us left handed people have to stay together and keep crocheting
I've watched so many tutorials on c2c, but this one is the only one to actually make it click for me. Thank you!!

@@cathymartin3379 a personal preference, but I like to go under 2 loops of the chain. I feel that it is sturdier that way.

Thank you for the lefty instructions! How much yarn would be requires for a full size adult c2c afghan?
I am not sure. I usually don't keep track of how much yarn I use when I complete a project.
Thank you for this. Now I just need to learn the mini C2C. I already have your color change video in my queue.

How do i tell the right side from the wrong side
It is double sided since you turn your work each time. No right side or wrong side unless you are doing a graphgan with words on it.
Is there a written pattern/tutorial.
No, I do not have a written pattern for this.
Thank you for this video, you really explained how to do the corner to corner. I would love you to show me how to make a rectangle please.
