Thanks so much! This is great Continued Educational content for us sparkys! I had to miss the end of 2023 , the entirety of 2024, and just now preparing to get back in the field after having 2 separate shoulder surgeries on each shoulder. So to help pass the time, I became a paranormal investigator. This data is so useful in understanding false positives when detecting EMF spikes in my certified and passed K2 meter and Rook. I also use what called a “trip wire” that has been calibrated and tested with Mel Meter.

GREAT EXPLANATION ON CAPACITIVE AND INDUCTIVE DYNAMICS!!
Concerning the earth, I have some old data that you may find interesting...
Between the ionosphere (at 60 miles) from the earth's surface, as a spherical capacitor:
    1) V =360,000V
    2) I = 1800A
    3) C = 0.25 F (250,000uF)
    4) R = 200 Ohms (atmospheric)
    ...on average
    --dALE.

Dear Dustin, are you aware of plasma incinerators? I understand they are popular in Canada for eliminating all waste, from metal down to bird feathers. The heat generated by plasma is so powerful!

“Scientists” used to say the lightning actually went from the earth to the clouds. I suppose it could? What do you say?
Love the information you put out. It’s a great education for me. 😊

most lighting strikes do go from ground to could about 95%

A crappy capacitor: a couple of metal plates stuck in a potato= a capacitater...

oversimplified lightning strikes but generally good for understanding capacitance.
