great to see you are now into the exhibition circuit Eric! Isn't it wonderful to be able to show your modelling in person, exchange ideas, and to enjoy the interactions and feedback? I can see you thoroughly enjoyed it, well done!!
Thank you for sharing this insight into getting a layout to a show for the first time. Looks like all the hard work was well worth it! Brilliant stuff Eric
Great to see you in Maidstone was fantastic to see it close up, I used to drive that route, and it bought back some great memories. Looking forward to the viaduct....
Was a pleasure to see the layout in the flesh, really is fantastic! Didn’t get a chance to tell you in person as you were a very busy man, look forward to seeing it again soon. Graham.
The new junction looks great. Gutted that I missed its first outing only 10 mins from home. As an entity it all goes together well. Carry on the good work. It was nice to see the woods behind were I lived in the 60’s
Hi Eric, brilliant mate, considering what you have achieved, do not built yourself up re the swapped bus wire.. I really do hope I will see you in Chesham, and also brill job by Ant and your mates, the efforts were well worth while. rgds Mark
Excellent video Eric, you make modelling look simple, "just need to do this add that replace that"....I'd be having kittens! Refreshing to see an integrated BR and LT focused modeller. Love riding on it when in the area so to see the level of detail you put in to reflect the system is great. Big shout out to your missus too, no way I'd be allowed that much of a takeover in the house! Look forward to the next installment
Fantastic job Eric... I have no idea how you managed to do all that work in such a short time. Really enjoyed this video ( as always). Had to laugh at the Battenburg cake comment... Very well done... PS because of my old age my favourite is always the 38 stock... even if it runs a bit like the way I walk these days :-) ... again, well done to all involved in getting this to the shows...
Fantastic vid mate, it’s great to see you’re not afraid to cut up my boards either 😂 you should be proud of what you’ve achieved in next to no time! Credit to you and your mates who helped
Eric, I am really pleased that you and your friends managed to complete as much as you did before the two shows. Thanks for giving us some insight into what you learned and your future plans. I look forward to seeing it back in the cabin, and it all being finished so you can display it in all its glory. It might help if you could draw a plan of your vision for the overall layout which you will eventually take to future shows. Also please give us plenty of advance warning about where and when you are going to show it.
What a great achievement, cant get over how much you create in such a short time, if you ever come down to Aus i have couple jobs for you, great video , i cant wait to see what you do next, but i am still cant believe what you did on the last video in the shed, but hey you are full of surprises, look for ward to the next one
I was at Rapido Railex on the Friday and was mightily impressed by the canal scenic. I reckon I'd spent more time looking at that part of your layout than all the rest added together and I even came back for a 2nd look after I had made a trip around the whole hall. There were many excellent layouts at Railex and your's was right up there in the best in show group. Bravo.
Wow Eric the layout looks amazing all set up, the new section junction sets it up beautifully, the detail so far is really good , and fir a short build time is fantastic, look forward to seeing it at a show in the future, 😂

Superb work and in such a compressed timeframe - hopefully you’re well chuffed!
