I follow everything you have done and taught me too new things to crochet. I always Love crochet. But my country is the biggest cluster, and the shipping I pay might long time to wait for my new yarms to deliver.. Hi Deb Nelson! I left some links to the yarns in the description box. Just make sure you don't buy waxed macrame yarn by mistake. As for the soles, you can use flip flop soles too if you have some tools to make tiny holes into the slippers (just in case you can't find ready made soles in your locality).

You could ask around if your local cobbler has such soles. Or you could also use the basic flip flop, make the holes by yourself if you have the tools. I got it from my local cobbler shop, so I don't really have much idea for orders.

You could use cotton yarn. But regular yarns generally stretches a lot compared to the macrame ones.

No, it's not sold on Amazon. I get it from local cobbler, which might not be available in US. But you can use flip flop soles if you have the tools to poke some small holes into the side of the slipper, or put the base stitches like the ones I used.

Hmmmm... It seems there could be some price difference country wise. Anyway, for this slipper pattern you would only require about 25 gms of yarn... Even scrap yarn would suffice 😀
