SAME dude. The growl makes sense if you think about it as well, considering that the Entity only growls when (jn this case) it has a victory, or it wishes to reveal itself. A growl is a noticeable sound, very similar to the very noticeable marks it leaves on the Internet.
I honestly think this movie should’ve opened with a badass mission that takes place in Ethan hunt’s early years in the imf with a young cgi Tom cruise face and how he and the movies villain came to be. Kinda like the opening to the new Indiana Jones movie

The opening in this movie was great, the Entity’s distorted groan reminds me a lot of The Grudge. I also thought to myself that this submarine would be where the final battle for Dead Reckoning Part 2 would be set as Ethan kills it and repeatedly reminding myself “This is part 1 of a 2 part story”

Here's what I hope is gonna happen if she shows up in Part 2: it turns out Ethan arranged for her death to be faked once again to protect her from the Entity, and also to trick the Entity into erasing her MI6 records, thus ensuring her complete freedom from MI6.

The Entity picked a certain spot in the submarine to hit that will only kill the crew but leaving the nuclear power generator intact (by the way, a nuclear submarine can operate for over 20 years), so it can use all the power to sustain itself. Also, from what I've checked the Bering Sea isn't that deep around 200 meters which means the wreckage will survive for a long time, allowing The Entity to plan nefarious plots safely.
Given the ridiculousness of the entire crew speaking in heavily-accented English, I'm surprised it didn't just say "Good Luck!" using the Roman alphabet.
The submarine captain does not lose his composure and continues to give commands to his subordinates even before his death. A true leader.
