SOS and Opera 2 got the first place in competition, then there's his Adagio performance got the first place too, you should see that too, he used his baritone voice in that song. Currently his range (so far from a multitude of his live international performances) is six octaves from F2 to a sustained D8 S.O.S. was actually the first performance for the China competition's new season of The Singer 2017 [which was why the crowd was excited for it to start at the beginning] -- but what is often overlooked is that he was pretty much a complete unknown to that audience [he's from Kazakhstan and doesn't speak any Chinese] , and least expected or anticipated to do much since he was pretty much unknown to the audience [which is why he was placed to go first -- the most anticipated singers were set to perform last on that episode]. This was the first time the China audience and other performers in the back room on the show heard him sing. Between his first performance ["S.O.S." in French] and his 2nd performance [Vita's "Opera 2" in Russian], he quickly won their hearts completely.
I agree with what you are saying but just to note: because the D8 is a part of his whistle register, it isn’t considered a part of his range. In reality it’s roughly 4 octaves give or take a few notes.

Dimash is a young 23 year old singer from Kazakhstan.His musical and vocal data are phenomenal! Today he has the largest band in the world 6 octaves and 1 note (this together with a whistle register) and 5 working octaves. And this is not the limit, as it has very flexible and long bundles from nature and besides they are perfectly developed from the age of 5. He has an academic singing school, now he is a third-year student in variety singing. He is fluent in all available vocal techniques, in including Bel Kanto! He has a great mastery of breathing techniques. Now he creates a new direction in music.

Hi guys, your reaction was great! I really appreciate how you are not afraid of expressing everything you see and feel. SOS was Dimash's first performance on stage and he was the first one to sing, in a contest for professional singers in a Chinese show called "The Singer" or "I am singer" , he was brought in as a "dark horse" or "wild card" ( I don't know if you know what I'm talking about) . Anyway he was much younger than other singers and unknown and yet he gave his best and won their hearts. It has 13 or 14 episodes. Please keep reacting to him by episode order. Dimash's fame exploded worldwide after this show, now he has millions of fans all over the world. Someone said on Twitter that Dimash is not known in Korea, I hope many people in Korea will know about his sensational voice. I have liked and subscribed. Thank you!

Hi guys, your reaction was great! I really appreciate how you are not afraid of expressing everything you see and feel. SOS was Dimash's first performance on stage and he was the first one to sing, in a contest for professional singers in a Chinese show called "The Singer" or "I am singer" , he was brought in as a "dark horse" or "wild card" ( I don't know if you know what I'm talking about) . Anyway he was much younger than other singers and unknown and yet he gave his best and won their hearts. It has 13 or 14 episodes. Please keep reacting to him by episode order. Dimash's fame exploded worldwide after this show, now he has millions of fans all over the world. Someone said on Twitter that Dimash is not known in Korea, I hope many people in Korea will know about his sensational voice. I have liked and subscribed. Thank you!
