In all honesty I am so pissed off at the idea that you have to find certain 'key words' in order for people to find your books so that you can make sales.It's not fair certain peoples books get the most or majority of sales when there are so many good books and beautiful design covers that people put time and effort into.Maybe Amazon should rotate peoples books around or give suggestions to potential buyers by introducing new work to them so that everyones works get exposed.I have over 80 books on KDP and no sales at all and these are just on the low content books like notebooks and journals.I've maybe had 3 sales when I first started but nothing for months on end and I keep uploading every week a few more.Seems pointless and if theres a way I could delete some of them could you let us know how it can be done.There doesn't seem to be an option available if you want to delete any of your books.Thanks

Your suggestions are perfectly right, but probably how would Amazon make money from their ad business if the system was fair? You can always unpublished the books . Is any other way to sell books? You can just unpublish your books. When you're relying on search terffic in any online business they keywords are incredibly important. This is a business and Amazon treats it as such and will only give prime position to products that they know will get sales. With a combination of keyword use and covers that appeal commercially then it's possible to make inroads with sales.

Yuo have to ask yourself why people may be clicking on your book and not following through with the purchase - interior? price? description? Then experiment, make changes and see if it affects your data.

Which a la carte tool do you think is best for a beginner? I have used Magnet and for some reason enjoy that tool but am wondering if that's the best option.
Out of Helium 10 - definitiely the Magnet tool would provide most value. The only two other tools I use are Cerebro and the Keyword tracking tool but the greatest use comes from Magnet.
It depends what you want to do. For pure keyword research Helium 10 is better. But book bolt has other features for niche research, list of top selling books, interiors and cover creation tools.

The link works but they've changed it to 20% and 10% off instead of 50% and 10% off.
only problem is it's $250/month now after a only a few months of using it.

I use the platinum plan. I think it's worth it for the tools I use.
