Judging according to some opinions on this video, I don't share your same outlook on some things, but I recall a pass of Alfieri's autobiography( anachronistic therm for his period's time, ''vita'' should be more appropriate), where, when he started his first tragedies, and they had a large public since he was a rich aristocrat, he was overcelebrated and overpraised, but he thought that he was in a time full of idiots if they celebrated his plays that did not compare to those of the great classic writers.. He felt as if tradition and good taste had vanished. I don't know Taylor Swift, liked 2 or 3 of her songs, I don't think she is the problem, but when I read people overpraising whoever pop star of the moment as it was the pinnacle of music...I wonder if they have the culture, the humbleness and sensibility of Alfieri to admit that to themselves...At least I remember Doja cat upsetting everyone when she said her fans consumed basic pop songs she composed to get money, a lot of people felt offended since she was offending her fans, but it is the truth.
