- Keeping up with traditions, here's an original song for Christmas. A pretty mongo and ultra-heavy tune at that.
I personally think this track is rad as hell, but I know it's not gonna be everyone's cup of tea since it's a little strange. Hope you'll still enjoy the change of pace compared to my usual sound though.

Great jam! That intro/outtro riff hooked me like a fish. My only complaint would be the harmonics at 2:50 feel a little off, but they pass by so fast that it doesn’t really matter. Love the heavy-ass groove.
That riff's rad as fuck, ain't it? It used to be the entire song too as this was originally a character select loop for a project I was working on for 5 minutes until I lost interest heh. Glad to see you're still around, dude.

Awesome work! I love to hear your original music! Also, I definitely appreciate the art by s tanly. It may not feature a chainsaw, but it does seem to fit the music somehow. I mean, those eyes, that chest! A little bit of the music at the end actually kind of reminded me of Armored Armadillo's stage from Mega Man X.

Stone. Real fucking talk. This is one of the best original songs I have heard in a LONG time. When it went from the Genesis Soundchip to the guitar, I literally exclaimed out loud "My god" and surprised my girlfriend, at which point I promptly restarted the song. This is goddamn GLORIOUS. It belongs in a good Contra game.

@@StoneMcKnuckle You just need to spread your music to radios and stuff, the right person to put you in the limelight everyone else uses. TH-cam/patreon are a good start but you still need someone to do the legwork for you. Perhaps try to get into video game movies, your music'll fit right in. I do want to donate but I doubt I'll do so, perhaps I'll try to get your music into a movie in the future or have you collaborate with a director to get a certain type of sound.
Almost sounds like Kuro or GISM at times with those riffs and the bass that high. Japanese raw punk covers when?

This certainly does play to your strengths. You know your way around a riff, particularly a blues one. It has a nice crunchy metal bite to it. Every time I listen to you go in on a solo, I'm impressed anew. Nice job, man. Now, I will say, I wish there was more traditional melody shit goin on, but that's just a personal preference. As for the opening synth riff. I'm not a fan of the sound, though I get what you were going for, before you dropped in with the full guitar riff. It just sounds a little snes-like. Perhaps that was your intention? In any case, I'm glad to see you're puttin out good work still, man. Keep those cyborg guitars wailing.
Thanks man. Yeah, I the stuff I make usually isn't as rhythm-guitar focused as this tune is, but hey, a little variation never kills. And yeah, the intro is supposed to be a Genesis throwback and I think it works really well and sounds cool so whatevs~

@@GAMEMUSICREMAKE Okay, the format you're using where you're including the name of the artist in the video title is probably the best way to do a radio channel on YT. The problem I generally have with these types of channels is that credit is provided poorly, ambiguously or not at all which is inevitably going to confuse the audience, and even where it's provided properly in the video description people generally don't read that shit. I think there's less chance of that happening the way you're doing things, so kudos on that.
A more clear-cut answer is no, I don't want you to, but you're still free to do it.

The guitar reminds me of some classic Mega Drive / Genesis tunes (Thunderforce IV for example).
That's not surprising since that's exactly what it is. VOPM with Thunder Force IV module. Bass and weird squeaky channels are originals though.

The only thing limiting your talent is the compression rate of the computer your trying to upload through the internet onto youtube. Is there any way I'd be able to get the orginal rips directly from your hard drive so I can attempt extracting the information manually from them?
I'm not entirely sure I understand, but if you want a higher quality version the patreon upload is 320kbps CBR. TH-cam's 256 these days so I don't really think the compression's a huge issue anymore though.

Yeah, I'm planning on doing either that one or Four Noble Devils 1/2 at some point. I was working on Four Noble Devils 2 a while back but Kenji Ito is a hardmode composer who's got a bunch of mongo stuff everywhere so even transcribing these songs is pretty tricky for a babby like me

Nope. The influences for this thing were Thunder Force and S.S.H. and basically nothing else. I think it's fun seeing people draw parallels to other songs though. :>

@@StoneMcKnuckle I am glad to hear this, and I sure hope the music can reach to your core as it does to mine. The series have a cult following, anyone with an Amiga is almost assuredly has played at least one of the games. Gameplay and design is somewhat weak, but music and graphics add up to an amazing atmosphere. One of the rare games to be remembered with its music. Also an early example of great parallax scrolling. The instrument set, melodies and themes, drone-like sounds plus great percussion instruments, and flute? But its as if the drums were made of the skins of the animals you fight, and the flute blows haunting, sorrowful tunes that speak of a horrible past, dangerous moment, and vengeful future. I am a coder, and need instrumental music to go with the work, and I listen to the music of the series very often, and every time, I wonder what it would be like if the music is modernized with your genius behind it. I know I was a little bit insisting on the matter, and perhaps alone in it as well (I don't know if anyone else made a suggestion about this music), and the fact that you are willing to give a shot is enough for me. But if something comes out of it, I am sure it will be a masterpiece in its own regard. I wish you enjoyable, creative, fulfilling free time to work on this one.
