My advice is to get a smaller snap! Or move the snap so it’s horizontal instead of vertical (which is what I do if I use the 11x17inch - combined an 11 and 17 set to make 2 11x17s)

Also, you don't need the extender to work with 11 inch qsnaps. So you could just remove the extender, use the normal adapter (not the corner) and see how you like it!
