Another great day out and video. Cracking footage and photos of the yellowlegs! I love the way you include the more familiar birds too and your enthusiasm adds to the content! The Frampton sandwich looked amazing! A couple of lifers too! Great stuff!
@@-_-13857. Wow, a garden tick! Nice one! I remember seeing my fist one in Egham, Surrey in the winter of 1972 from my bedroom window, but in the farm owners garden.
@@tonycritcher3419 Yes I've had a lot of cool birds in my garden over the time my favourite ones tawny owl, jay ,wood pecker, grey wagtail, kestrel, blackcap and like all the thrushes.
@@-_-13857. A lovely selection of species visiting there. I have had whitethroat, chiffchaff and once a herring gull plus a lot of the more expected species, but rarely any finches and of late very little at all, I put some of this down to visiting cats and noisy neighbours as well as a decline in so many species. I used to also have a nice flock of around 25 house sparrows that used to chill in the afternoon, but sadly no more than two or three now. Long gone are my song and mistle thrushes.
Those Crane are awesome. Saw a couple of captive ones while I was over.
Congrats on the Yellowlegs.
