Also, you may not have known this, but you can miss getting the full item index if you defeat Phantom Dragon without stealing an accessory from him. As far as I know, Phantom Dragon and Ultimate Szabo (boss before final bout with Nene and Destroy) have accessories that can be stolen from them that only apply to them. And both of them are Nene accessories... I think one is Nene's ring and the other is Nene's earring.
And for those who know the game better, you can steal Black Belts from Corrosive Poo (so long as you are patient. It's a rare steal so you'll get mostly Ultra Medicine) and you can steal a second Lei from Moody Dragon on top of that!

You know, the band that made Highway Star and Smoke on the Water :) Also, it only plays during most of the boss fights. Regular fight music plays when facing lower-level monsters... but there are quite a few bosses in this game, since it is made by Akira Toriyama...
Not for me because I beat him on a much lower level and I think I was still on disc 2. (All I know is that it was before I unlocked the tension abilities) That mf attacked me 11 times in a row without letting me have a turn! I counted! lol I didn't die to him at all, but I almost did, lol
