I've realized that I've had one foot out the door in the studio lately, the search has made me rush work and leave as soon as I could, which means that I'm creating a very uncreative work environment. I don't think it's a healthy mindspace to entertain, so I've now decided to change my ways and give my studio some attention. Change it up before spring opening and make it a nice place to be, like I used to. I hope you enjoy a little thrifting, work and life stuff. Thank you for watching 🌞

My week had an unexpected turn too, my rabbit became ill but she is now recovered. These times happen in life but it must feel a little like you are letting people down when your week isn’t as you expected - especially from the perspective of a tired mind at the end of the week. One of the things that I love about your videos is that they are a regular rhythm of life. I loved this one for the unexpected treasures you found, your insight to bring creativity back into your studio by having both feet back in the door, the anticipation of your projects big and small… skylights, wallpaper, redecorating, anticipation of spring and open house studio, and of course getting your veggie garden ready 🥰 - a very eventful week on video after all! Strudio - something on the dummy and definitely wall needs something and cushions maybe so it looks cosier. Lamp on window sill and have champagne and nibbles to encourage people in to look at the store.

I wear a red lipstick in my 60s now to add more color now that I've got gray hair. I get weird looks because not many women where I am where it. I'm proudly wearing my red lipstick now especially after learning of the history behind red lipstick and the women's suffragette movement.

I think its great you put your all in where you’re at whenever, I imagine it helps not feeling any sense of regret or when you’re deciding for something better (to not be wishy washy). Sometimes that’s a challenge for me to be decisive and I’m sure its because I’m too reserved throughout the process which means I’ve limited the amount of joy and fulfillment I could’ve had if I had both feet grounded in a place.

She is probably waiting until the skylights have been put it, so she does not move it twice. She also has to move all of her furniture to have the skylights put in. They might break it inserted the ceiling skylights.

I work as a cleaner and I always collect bottles from others..so I get new money 😁 Also I sometimes pick bottles and cans I find throw out by idiots that think the nature is their trash can.

The house we are living in now, our very last home, has vaulted cielings and 2 huge skylights. You are going to love love love this change to your home. Its going to have a bigger feeling and a lot of light. But i also love watching it rain and snow through them. My 2 pugs love finding the sun light on the carpet or sofas to just lay under. Its funny to see them move as the sun moves. LOL. its a very smart decision. ❤❤❤

Your vlog is one of the few I watch ALL the way through. I am not a fashion nut, though I like watching your take on fashion. I can no longer do DIYs as I’m pushing 70, but love watching you DIY. I live in the oilfields of Texas so gardening is mostly a waste of time, but watch you garden. I love thrifting, but at my age I do my best not to go there as we are purging and downsizing. I love watching you thrift. The only variable that ties this together is you. I’m sure most of your faithful viewers are here for you. Even your scattered vlogs are delightful.
I felt gutted for you when you blurted out, “Honey I’m home….” And then realized you were alone. I could feel your loneliness. Praying for you to find the one that really loves you and gives himself to you wholly. That’s the only kind of man worth having. They are rare.
Evening Elise, As i sit here, drinking my cup of coffee i felt a tear of relief. You explained about having one foot out of the door. I bought a space/house nearly two years ago. There has been many problems and just yesterday after having the decorators finish a beautiful job, the builder replacing a door had ripped off the new wood work, and peeled off some paint. I have been in tears and feeling the love go completely. I have to thank you for explaining how you feel, and putting something into words that i am totally feeling with my space. Today i will clean, keep both feet inside and get creative in my space.
