The part that makes Kog'maw so shit with how people can walk away from his attack. Is that they complained about this for the exact same reason with multiple units in the past (Think Malzahar)
Yet they keep making units that can be avoided by walking.

can anyone explain why everyone goes nashor for kog? He doesnt need an attack speed.
It's statistically his best item.
It gives perma 50% atk speed which makes him cast 50% faster (if it's the only atk speed item he has). And it also gives 30ap which is more damage.
He wants to cast as often as possible and aside from blue buff /shojin, nashors is the one that makes you cast the fastest.
Atk speed = mana generation = cast more often, that's why red buff tend to be better than morello even on AP casters.
