Rituals on the Cleansing of a Leper - Leviticus Chapter 14

Didn't Jesus tell the leper he healed to go to the priests to verify his healed status, or am I not remembering the verses right? Because here it says the priest goes outside the camp.

Pastor Lance replies - He goes outside the camp because that is where the leper would have been. He could not return TO the camp until announced clean by the priest.
