Dear JackSicarius, I am sorry for the last 30 seconds of the video. I believe that the enlightenment that you gave me regarding the stats of the serpent has inspired me to make another serpent and try it out again.
if tradelands 2 ever comes out than the inyola faction might give the serpent a comeback, maybe even introduce new junk ships, but that’s only speculation at the moment
Back in the old days, when i had the options to make a beaver or the serpent, i made the beaver despite the fact that i knew the serpent was technically better but instead i made the beaver bc "more stylish" lol
i once thought about getting the serpent when it still was cool but then i was like nah fuck that shit LOOK AT THAT ENGINE FROM DAT FOX BOIIIIII and then i made a fox
Yeah, we used to broadside them, sink them, hen try to kill the crew and steal cargo out of the water. Then the piracy nerf happened and it wasn't viable anymore.
I loved TL years ago, it was a great game, and i was in a active pirate group, we were a great team and ere really effective, then they nerfed piracy into the ground, then they added permanent gun smoke so you couldn't even aim the now useless cannons while stationary and to make it worse they made it more profitable for merchants to kill pirates then the other way around. Plus the whole Nahr was greedy and make OP glowies problem that was always there. So i gave up on the game and quit.
I chose the serphent over the beaver because I used to get the bowsprit stuck on everything which I didn't have to deal with on the serphent because it didn't have one. If I could trade my serphent for a beaver then I would definitely do that because the junk sails aren't that good anymore and I never get to use all the side cannons anymore so it's not really worth getting since the beaver holds more cargo, has stern cannons, and looks nicer in my opinion
Beaver is also fast as hell crosswind compared to the serpent. But I wish more ships were like the serpent where they didnt have the front mast or whatever lmao
Can you explain why sinking a ship is no longer profitable? I played tradelands like 2 years ago and I recently had a random thought to search it up on youtube.

I used it to outrun pirates upwind... until Taipan happened...
Even Taipan got outclassed by Marauder, Pheasant, Bullet and even the Dart after the last major update..
Its still worth using cause Im lazy and cant farm Materials to make another ship lmao
