Don't be afraid to write to the sd card even if the high pitch siren is sounding. I've found that it's very unlikely to corrupt the data. Plus having the data for the whole flight can be used for debugging in the future.
Very nice. Thank you for detailed explanation. We also building flight computer based on MPU6050 and BMP180. For now we getting first experience, so we use Arduino nano. For more complex projects with TVC we are considering STM32F103 or ESP32. Yes, Teensy 3.6 is great, but too expensive to get in Russia. Wish you good weather for your flights.

Hello! sadly the board is one we designed ourselves and then had manufactured through a company called JLCpcb. So the board is not widely for sale. We do have spares/the original files that we could sell. drop us an email orionaerospace.liftoff@gmail.com if that still interests you
How did you make the Lego TVC mount? I am going to start the hobby when I start high school in a few months Edit: never mind found a design so now I need to learn how to make the flight computer I will probably start with basic fins while I learn the basics of computer making and have an accelerometer and SD card for storing data
