Not a pillar level but almost.. Tanjiro smell a pillar scent from her because she's a tsuguko.. Even better, she's under 2 pillar training.. Shinobu said Kanao is under her training but technically she's under both of the sister because she learn how to fight from watching both of them training.. If there was more tsuguko in the anime then Tanjiro will sense more people like Kanao

But I'm pretty sure Kanao is stronger than Shinobu but it doesn't mean she's more skilled/experienced compare to Shinobu.. plus, she haven't defeat one of the twelve demon moon so that's another reason why she's not a pillar

Seeing kanao in a serious battle cannot be underestimated because just in the butterfly mansion arc tanjiro says that her skills is closer strong like a Hashira and a year has passed since tanjiro said that it means that he honed and practiced every inched of his skill to really match a Hashira in doma's arc.
Even tho part of her newfound power comes from the anger over Shinobu's death, it shows how far she's progressed with the Breath of Flowers
I cried so hard when Shinobu died and Kanao cried for the first time in a long time. So powerful and sad 🤧😭

When you realize Kanao and Kanae share same breathing. So, basically this is a preview of what Kanae and Douma fight looked like.
For someone who is not a Hashira, Kanao held on pretty well against the SECOND Upper Moon.
Agree while I think she had some advantages from shinobu she did outperform inosuke when he had his one on one with Douma she was even supported him after the fight had finished
@@asmaaebrahim7979 The Only issue is Douma never tried to kill her, he likes to play with Pillars like Shinobu, but him saying she might be a little more skillful and the fact she didn't die outright says a lot.
It’s very true but Doma had multiple opportunities to kill her. He literally takes her only way to kill him and just puts it in the ground. He does a similar thing with inosuke later.

Kanao is so underrated, she is my favorite character. Kinda sad that this is the only arc where we can see her full in action (another one is when she chased Nezuko which she did not even unveil her breathing style). Another one will be with Muzan but it is still not enough for me but I guess it is alright because she is not the main character. Anyways, can't wait for the whole final arc to be animated!!
Keep in mind that Kanao was already close to average Hashira level around the start of the series, and she just gets stronger as the story progresses. Meanwhile, Douma is just toying with her, and having fun, and casually takes her sword

They where really lucky, Shinobu's whole body was a poison bag which would be strong enough to kill a demon docens of times + Doma went serious during the end.

Part 1 and 2 really blew my mind! The music was PERFECT for these events. I really love how your animations gave me chills, wanting more, and made me cry. Here's why: Kanao had Kanae and Shinobu...who were BOTH killed by this demon. So seeing Kanao use both Kanae's Flower Breathing Technique AND Shinobu's intel on how to defeat him really made me cry as the final sister (as adoptive sister) to end him.
The manga art style is better than the actual anime itself

What I love most about this series is that it's everyone working together to take down the demons it's not just one hero who's more powerful then everybody else and he takes down all the demons including the moons it's everyone working together to end this!!
Once that fight scene was being animated for real. We Demon Slayer anime fans must be prepared to witness some epic battle that we've never seen before.

Top 3 peleas segurísimo y concuerdo en que puede ser la mejor (para mí compite con las dos de Lord papucho besto Luna Creciente Akaza y quizás la de Kokushibou)

@@trapking2009 It was literally because of the power of the script, it is the Upper Moon 2, how could a poison that had never been tested before in a high-ranking demon win over him? I am not convinced of his death, in addition to the fact that the first 3 upper moons are incapable of die by beheading.
@@andrewlee-al952 theres no confirmation of that dude. Akaza did it by chance and so did koku. Doma was strong but too non chalant. I agree with the way he died it would just be an ass pull for them to beat him with their own strength dont you think that would be more akin to the power of the script if they did such a thing get real buddy
@@trapking2009 well also, he was very confident and I repeat, I doubt very much that a theoretical poison was enough to weaken Douma so much, His only weakness was trusting him, in the manga notebooks if I remember correctly it said that the 3 main moons survived the decapitation, it was also seen in the mamga when Kokushibo and Akaza stopped regenerating their heads to surrender.
@@andrewlee-al952 he didn't instantly regenerate when poisoned for the first time with a small dose from shinobu so he isn't 100% resistant to poison. I also think you're underestimating the amount of poison shinobu ingested in herself bro that's why even if he would've recovered eventually he was successfully weakened and couldn't regenerate in time before dying it's as simple as that
