This song is about finding and honoring your passions/peace in a society that values you based on your productivity. Making music with my friends is one of the most fulfilling things in my life and I am so grateful to be able to do so! I hope this song can help you find some peace today
I played this for my ex on our third date. He kissed me and said "now we'll never be able to hear this song the same way again." Yesterday I found out that he got back together with his ex-girlfriend without breaking up with me or even talking to me at all first. Just left me alone in the dark.
But he was wrong. He can't ruin this song for me. It's still the sound of pure, simple, beautiful joy.
