Omg the Wii intros bring back many memories. I looooved the Beijing game, Vancouver was the best gameplay wise and the intro of London was the besssst. I dont have sochi or rio but i am kind of disappointed just by looking at the animations of the intros. (Not ds, just wii u) I loved sitting there and watching the cutscenes as a child! It was so good to get you hyped and finding all your favourite characters doing cool stuff with cool animations! Damn, so many memories XD

They need to turn the guest characters into fully playable characters. And add online back from Sochi but make it better. A story mode like the handheld games would be nice too.

Galaxy Reach Half right. It’s because the Wii games had pre-rendered animated intros while the Wii U games used the in-game character models in shorter cutscenes. Basically they got lazier thinking HD models could match HD animation.
I just think that it focuses too much on Miis. You can't even use Mario and Sonic characters in the tournaments (which is basically the main part of the game) until you beat them at Level 3, which isn't the easiest thing in the world. I've had difficulty with some of them even at Level 2.
He's wearing the labyrinth shoes on (Where Dr eggman replace his original shoes with a heavier one.) Kinda like uhm Link when he wears the heavy boots? Sonic has to hold back, or it wouldn't be fair for the rest.
Used to have Olympic games 2008 for ds and 2010 olympic winter games too but I have all 3 wii games and both wiiu games. So I have all the Wii games with Mario and sonic. So pretty much the ones I don't have is London 2012 for 3ds cause I don't have a 3ds and I don't have rio 2016 for 3ds as well. I love this series with all my heart. I think I started out with 2010 or 2008 I can't remember. I grew up with sonic and I love Mario so these games are perfect for me. I can't wait for 2018 winter Olympic games for switch but I will get it

Man the 2008 one was my sister and I’s Saturday morning tournament. The same Winter Olympics was one I stole from my best friend and tried to complete story mode (stupid yoshi) but in the end I gave it back and we played the party modes.
There's an error in the opening to the original Mario and Sonic. In the Archery scene, Wario's bow is red and yellow, with red arrows while in the actual game his bow is purple and yellow with purple arrows!
