Wiikwemikong celebrating Indigenous Peoples month and Pride month

On the first day of Indigenous Peoples month and Pride month, June 1st 2022, our home community of Wiikwemikong raised its first LGBTQ2S+ flag.
Our lead singer Danielle is a proud member of the LGBTQ2S+ community, as well as a member of the Wiikwemikong Unceded First Nation.
The wind blew hard for us that day too, waving the new flag strong and proud.
