Thanks Michael! I can’t tell you how much I appreciate your support! Your positivity and kindness mean a lot to me! I hope you have an excellent weekend, my friend!
appreciate the mention yeah that machete is awesome, the point for thrusting, edge for slashing, the handle, just an amazing weapon and im glad you like it
I found out recently Gil has passed on. His son runs things now.. i know he will be missed in the knife world .. I have several of his pieces my self .. I love his throwing knives
Love the videos with my main man Kyle. I really appreciate y'all adding the chapters back to the video as well. I need to add some carbon/non metal knuckles to my collection. I've been hearing good things about them.
What an awesome job Amanda picking out weapons again this week you are making it harder every week to pick out a clear winner. Nice camera work Ian also this week and great job Kyle going over the weapons. I really liked the machete and trench cleaver but I think I have to pick the cap followed by the knuckle busters they seem a lot easier to use as self defense without letting people know you are packing a weapon, but carrying the other two on your side would definitely make people stay away also great video again this week and I hope all of you had a great and safe weekend my friends.
Thanks Jason! I completely agree with your picks this week. I love all the weapons, but have a special place in my heart for the SAP cap and the knuckles. I hope you had a wonderful weekend, my friend!
I Love this Channel. I get to see and learn about so many different weapons. Many of these items I have never seen before. All of these were interesting. I especially like that Trench Weapon. It would be totally illegal here in Canada. I enjoy the weapons being demonstrated how to use them. Always great fun. Thanks.
I really appreciate your kindness and positivity! It’s such a cool personality trait to have! Thank you so much, my friend! I hope you have an awesome weekend!
What is the major difference between Kombativ and Karatemart? Is it that Kombativ is weapons-only, and that Karatemart is weapons *and* martial arts supplies, like karate gis, etc.? Just curious.
That’s pretty close! Kombativ has always been the manufacturing company for many of the weapons we carry on KarateMart, but we thought it would be a good idea to hear KarateMart towards martial artists needing martial arts supplies (uniforms, sparring gear, etc), and Kombativ will continue to be a weapon manufacturer and gear the website towards more tactical items. Have an awesome weekend, my friend!
Thanks for another Friday weapons review. In some ways, my favorite is the Self-defense Sap Cap. I mostly like that one because it could be a nice hat to use for hat purposes. I'm guessing that the pouch full of steel shot would make it less likely to blow off in a hard wind. Maybe it would end up being uncomfortable for long-term wear. Maybe it would become too hot or too cold in extreme weather. There could be problems, but maybe it would be a fun and comfortable cap. The other nice thing about this cap is that if someone snuck up behind the wearer and attacked with a strike to the back of the head, the pouch full of steel shot might cushion the blow enough to save the wearer's life. I wonder whether this might work well in a version where the weighted material is plumber's putty and sand. I think that combination would do even more to cushion a blow from behind. The machete is nice, but the handle and guard seem just a little too fancy. The fact that you cut your finger from movement while stabbing is another bad sign. I think I'd pick a slightly longer, less fancy machete if I were picking a machete. The cleaver is cute. I heard somewhere that cleavers are less effective blades for fighting than they would seem at first glance. I don't know enough about blade fighting to judge that statement. This would be a fun cleaver for someone who was into cooking and into military stuff. I'm less enthusiastic about the knuckles, but I'm always less enthusiastic about knuckles.
The bush master machete is ver sweet looking. I pick that one. The clever is definitely not far behind. Have a great weekend. Keep on swinging and be safe.
Love the weapons Kyle that bush machete is beautiful but to be fair I loved them all mate can’t wait for the next video as usual your very honest opinions mean a lot brother take care .
Thanks Craig! I can't tell you how much I appreciate your support over the years! It means so much to me. I hope you have an awesome weekend, my friend!
Thank you! I remember someone commenting that on one of my videos…that must have been you! So funny! Sting was an awesome wrestler! Thanks so much for your support! I really appreciate it!
Hey kyle hows u ? I have been in karatemart and they said that u r make video on this channel Its good to see u after long time 🙏 And say Hi 👋 to Amanda 😺 That cap looks good for sudden stick but its not gona hurt a lot and it will make your opponent very angry So over all it was good for stealth weapon but need to be more effective And those huge knifes r way no no for common peoples in any nation 🇮🇳🙏🕉️🙏🇮🇳
Am I the only one who would use the knuckle duster in my left hand as a defencive feature? I always learned that it isn't for use in your dominant hand because it does better for jabbing and a deterrent rather than an offensive weapon.
That’s a great question and it would really depend on the knuckle duster. Many of them aren’t made to be punched with, but if you had the right pair, I could definitely see that being useful. Thanks so much for watching! I really appreciate it!
I’m sure there are some knuckle dusters that are specifically designed to be used with gloves, but the majority of them have 1” or less diameter finger holes, which would make it tough to fit using gloves. But, I totally understand why wearing gloves would make sense. Thanks so much for watching! I really appreciate it!
I'd go with the four finger Carbon Fiber knuckles I think, if I had to choose. Lightweight, tough, concealable and won't show up on Metal Detectors. You're 45?, Wow.
If you are referring to the holes on the blade of the butcher knife, those holes are fairly common to standard kitchen butcher knives. They are there to allow you to hang your knife in the kitchen. The knuckle duster style handle would definitely be something that I would worry about being illegal in the UK though. I’m glad you are aware of your local laws. Thanks so much for watching! I hope you have an excellent weekend!
Kyle, The Gil Hibben knife is pretty cool and 1075 steel is tuff stuff. The knuckle set is a bit useless since they are illegal in most states and in some a felony to have. The sap hat is a weapon that takes training to use properly. The trench cleaver is just useful in the kitchen. I live in Michigan's upper peninsula and many of use carry a fixed blade knife every day and we use them, so they have to be tuff and hold an edge. That cleaver is big and heavy and in cold weather even steel can be brittle especially stainless steel. I have broken a couple stainless knives in cold weather. Great video brother.
You make some excellent points, Joe! Thank you so much for all your support, my friend! It really means a lot to me. I hope you have an awesome weekend!
Love this guy keeping the 80s alive
The 80s were definitely my favorite years! Thanks so much for your support! It really means a lot to me!

4:50: "The Skipper Maneuver" (from Gilligan's Island). Very effective.
You crack me up, brother! I hope you have an awesome weekend, my friend!
If there's ever an alien apocalypse, a zombie apocalypse, or any apocalypse scenario, I would definitely buy a lot of weapons from your website.
Awesome! I really appreciate that! Thanks so much for your positivity and support! It means a lot to me! I hope you have an excellent weekend!
Cause the delivery service will definitely still be running after a zombie apocalypse kicks off.
Military Trench Cleaver for sure.
Excellent choice, Stiles! I hope you have an excellent weekend, my friend!
Oh yeah 😂
You're such a hand to hand weapons dork and that earns you big points in my book, brother. Keep up the great work.
You are sooo right, Matthew! Thanks, brother! I hope you have an awesome weekend!
This would be some The Walking Dead candy!
Absolutely! Thanks so much for watching! I really appreciate it!

That’s too bad, Brian. I had no idea. He will definitely be missed. I hope you have an excellent weekend!

Thank you, my friend! That really means a lot to me. Yeah, the carbon fiber knuckles are really impressive. I hope you have an excellent weekend!

I like the machete and the trench cleaver. Out of the two, I really like the trench cleaver the most 😎👍
Excellent choice, Matt! I love that cleaver as well! I hope you have a wonderful weekend! Thank you so much for all your support!

Great selection of weapons
Thanks Stiles! You're the best!
The cleaver and parang are both pretty beastly, hard to pick a favorite!
I agree, my friend! I hope you have an excellent weekend!
10/12/24: at 67 years old the only reason I subscribe was to see you use a W.W.1 trench knife . Thank you very much and stay safe.
I really appreciate that! Thank you! I hope you are having an excellent weekend!
The bush master machete is ver sweet looking.

Thanks Brother! I really appreciate it, my friend! I hope you have an awesome weekend!
The way you laugh with that military trench cleaver,is horror movie gold. 😂😂😂
Hahahaha! You’re probably right!😂. Thanks so much for watching! I really appreciate it!
I like your energy ,bro. When I first saw your videos a few years ago, I thought you resembled the wrestler, 'Sting'.
Thank you! I remember someone commenting that on one of my videos…that must have been you! So funny! Sting was an awesome wrestler! Thanks so much for your support! I really appreciate it!
Can’t believe you’re 44!
Thanks Mark! I’m actually 45 now and will be 46 in a few months. Thanks so much for all your support, my friend. It really means a lot to me.

Hi, my friend! It’s great to see you! Yeah, I’ve been doing the Kombativ videos for a couple of months. I hope you have an excellent weekend!
The shape of the knuckle gaurd gives it away immediately as a Gill Hibben knife.
You definitely know your knives! I love that! Thanks so much for watching! I really appreciate it!
My fav. the first knife.
Awesome! Gil Hibben makes some excellent knives! Have a great weekend, my friend!
Master Splinter: "Once I was a Wing Chung Dumb now I truly am a Master of Spinters."
lol…so true, Mac! He’s in pretty rough shape nowadays!
i have got a thing for the cleaver... pretty cool
Awesome! Thanks so much for watching! I really appreciate it!
I love the trench cleaver.
Awesome, Jaime! Thanks so much for watching! I really appreciate it!
As a former chef, the clever without a doubt.
Awesome! I knew there were some chefs out there that would like a tactical cleaver! Thanks so much for watching! I really appreciate it!
Nice choices as per usual that small knuckle duster ribs could possibly collect some DNA from the strike ?
Kyle cloning.
Hahahahaha!
So true, Craig! I was thinking the same thing myself, but you beat me to it! Have an awesome weekend, my friend!

I love the hat!
I definitely love how tactical it looks. Thanks Robert! I hope you are having an excellent weekend!

2:31- I also love to ' sharpen my weapon. ' What guy doesn't ?
Well said!😂. I agree! Thanks so much for watching! I really appreciate it!
Impact material…like the term😂
Me too!😂. Thanks so much for watching! I really appreciate it!

You're 45?, Wow.
Excellent choice, my friend! I hope you have an awesome weekend!
Love the pizza axe
You have a good eye! Thanks so much for watching! I really appreciate that!
Shame it’s got so many holes in the blade. Makes it illegal in the UK
If you are referring to the holes on the blade of the butcher knife, those holes are fairly common to standard kitchen butcher knives. They are there to allow you to hang your knife in the kitchen. Damn, show more of Amanda.
If you’d like to see more of Amanda, she has her own videos on the KarateMart TH-cam channel. Thanks so much for watching!
Trench cleaver sounds scary as shit
Very true! It’s extremely intimidating! Thanks so much for watching! I really appreciate it!

@@kombativ_com no problem. I meant no offense. Thanks for the video.
As a 15 year Butcher hunter cleavers are no joke
Even did 3 years of western sword and knife fighting training at a good duello
That’s awesome, Brad! Thanks so much for watching and for your comment! I hope you have an excellent weekend!
