Hello Gear4Music, I bought the Yamaha SV200 as well as the Yamaha THR 5, I'd like to know what Effect/loop pedal was used as I like the sound of it a lot. Thanks!! ~Jousseph
Hello there, This was only done to achieve a comparison between the two models. If you have any further questions please do not hesitate to ask. Kind regards, Gear4music
Hello Annelisse, Thanks for the message. This would depend on your specific requirements. The SV-150 is more appropriate for a practicing environment whereas the SV-200 is better suited within a performance based environment. If you have any further questions please feel free to ask. Kind regards, Gear4music
Thank you! I'm interested in getting a clean classical sound for a performance. I'm considering the sv 200, but it sounds like it might need a reverb pedal to achieve an acoustic sound.
Again it would be completely down to preference and how you choose to play your violin, as well as which amp it goes through. The great thing about it being electric is that you can modify your sound as much or as little as you want, in order to achieve your dream tone! Kind regards, Gear4music
Hello +70 44 It is completely down to individual preference and what you require out of your instrument. Both are great products and offer a variety of different specifications that cater to different needs. Kind regards, Gear4music

This is more of a demo of the SV 250 than of the SV 150... plus, why did you skip the SV 200?
