Cant get enough of this Jamaican truckers are the masters @ floating(clutch less shifting) and its perfectly fine once the gears doesn't grind... proud Jamaican
U can clearly tell the clutch is engaged by the way the gears are falling in place .. to float into a gear it's always a little bit of resistance on the shifter seeing as the clutch is not engaged
He's just going REALLY easy on the clutch: if you know the correct RPM range for each gear you can do that easily on almost every vehicle. Completely clutchless shifting it's quite hard to achieve on complex gearboxes such as the ones used in lorries and generally not adviseable.
Some slick shifting that's how you shift the big jiggers.. fuck the haters and their Eaton fuller user manual, load it like a rail car and drive it like a race car. Respect and credibility trucker 👍👍
I just want a truck that sounds like that. I love that garbling sounds at low rpm's almost like it's missing. it sounds like that thing is making some good power.
if i was outside the truck i'd think that was an auto. nice flair on an 18 box no less! why does everyone think this is a super 10 lol watch the pattern
One thing I've noticed once its a Jamaican or Caribbean guy shifting nice and different from an American the Americans be the 1st to try diss his style or way of driving. But the trucks never go to mechanic shops for the way of driving tho
I mean people have certain styles the way they shift gears.Hes not the only one that can do that. There are people here in the states that can do exactly the same thing. But if you can do that without stripping out the transmission or breaking the trans brake more power to you..
he said alot more 1500 rpm is only thing u understand wat he's saying it wont easy to understand how we Jamaica speak we shortening every words we say for example (come here) we say (com yah)(what's your name) we say (wah yu name)
So professional..... he is over revving the crap outta that poor n14... he crunched a gear and is wasting his time taking it outta gear to split. Not to mention wtf is up with the ape hanger gear shifter? This fulla has got a lot of learning to do
If you were inside the truck you would feel how smoothly it brings up the torque of the engine, your not gonna be able to tell if ur watching the video. He's also adding his own style and flare to shifting. I also heard that when u flutter the accelerator it keeps the engine cooler in hotter climates.
jazzy jas What are the roads like in Jamaica all smooth or does it change when you leave the city bigger towns (18 speed shifting Jamaican style 2nd video I watched ) is that a local term for floating
yow bro the way you are shifting them gears is like you had at least 45 tun,s on that truck. the reason for i to say that there is no need to shift a empty truck like that.
Lyndon Williams apparently u know about trucks yet still you commenting crap that truck sound like it empty to you for your info that is a long journey he going on nothing under 50 ton must more but not less
Damn my guys do just as good or better. Don’t see what all the fuss is about with Jamaican drivers being masters of shifting. See it everyday from my group of guys. I should note that they are all over 45 and that’s a big difference. Today’s rookies, and everyone starts out as one but I don’t understand why they are taught to tack out every gear before upshifting. New Cats best Hp/Tourque range is below 1400rpm but I still see some of these guys bumping governors in all gears up shifting. It’s a real shame too because they are just waisting a ton of fuel and the life of the engine itself. Can’t tell them any different tho. I mean what should I know just been doing it for 20 years and never dropped an engine, clutch or tranny. Handle em like you’d handle your fantasy girl and they’ll be just as good to you unless they are of course a lemon.
And here we have a Hand Operated automatic transmission
Where u b? I'm coming
Cant get enough of this Jamaican truckers are the masters @ floating(clutch less shifting) and its perfectly fine once the gears doesn't grind... proud Jamaican
He ain't floating.

he said alot more 1500 rpm is only thing u understand wat he's saying it wont easy to understand how we Jamaica speak we shortening every words we say for example (come here) we say (com yah)(what's your name) we say (wah yu name)

Why would anyone tach out of every gear? I don't even do that with a car under normal conditions. With a diesel, it makes even less sense.
Your just hating, simple
