I'm American and I used to work on Crete. Whenever I smell olives it brings back memories of Crete. I had a favorite Gyro shop in Hania. I'd finish my night of drinking and get a gyro sandwhich with a big handfull of french fries wrapped up in the sandwhich! I never did figure out what kind of grilled meat was used though.

Some look German with light hair and blue eyes, some darker like Mediterranean. They are very beautiful and have something special to their look in my opinion. But like all countries in the world, there are beautiful, in between and then not so beautiful lol.

My boyfriend is an American and I am Greek and he loves Gemista❤❤❤ When I travelled to the USA a couple of months ago to visit him I got almost a mini suitcase of those for him.
Gemistá taste nothing like Oreos, they have a chocolate flavour and you can tell that it's made with real chocolate. They also smell really nice. Oregano chips are the go to chips in Greece, you get them served with beer. 7days mini croissants with Champagne and millefeuille flavour are awesome! Amita Motion is the most nostalgic juice ever. It tastes delicious and is not too sweet. We also drink it in clubs with vodka or gin, it's delicious. Greek snacks are not as sweet and artifical as american snacks. We have a very wide variety and if you ever visit Greece, go to a local supermarket or kiosk and try some of the stuff :D
7-Days Croissant Mini Millfeil is my favourite. They are amazing. In Croatia, we have them, and we also love our Bajadera, Domačica, Dorina Keks, Jaffa and Kiki Bomboni and the White Linolada (yummy) . You should find some Croatians and make them bring snacks. That would be interesting. My kindest greetings to all the Greeks here. My wish is to one day visit Greece. I loveee it.
@@tparis1990 You export a lot of things, but possibly not the best produce. :D (For example I cannot for the love of God buy a proper feta cheese in Hungary. We have some brands, but not the best ones.) I haven't heard of these, but will try them if I can, thanks for the recommendation.
@@UmbraKrameri if you want you can also try gyro, spanakopita, souvlaki, olives, mereda, bougatsa, tzatziki (if you try tzatziki make sure you won't kiss anyone after) and you can also try some "products" from the companies papadopoulou (the most famous), amita fun, 7days and tsakiris. I really recommend all these as i am from Greece and i love all of these! (excuse my English if there are mistakes)
I haven't been able to to find them in stores anymore, at least where my family lives near Ioannina. I wish they would have had them try δρακουλίνια because those are my favorite.

Amita Motion is the most nostalgic juice ever. It tastes delicious and is not too sweet. We also drink it in clubs with vodka or gin, it's delicious.
Greek snacks are not as sweet and artifical as american snacks. We have a very wide variety and if you ever visit Greece, go to a local supermarket or kiosk and try some of the stuff :D

7-Days Croissant Mini Millfeil is my favourite. They are amazing. In Croatia, we have them, and we also love our Bajadera, Domačica, Dorina Keks, Jaffa and Kiki Bomboni and the White Linolada (yummy) . You should find some Croatians and make them bring snacks. That would be interesting. My kindest greetings to all the Greeks here. My wish is to one day visit Greece. I loveee it.

@@UmbraKrameri if you want you can also try gyro, spanakopita, souvlaki, olives, mereda, bougatsa, tzatziki (if you try tzatziki make sure you won't kiss anyone after) and you can also try some "products" from the companies papadopoulou (the most famous), amita fun, 7days and tsakiris. I really recommend all these as i am from Greece and i love all of these! (excuse my English if there are mistakes)
