I did an Albert Collins Tribute guitar a couple years ago with a light Fender 60’s Pau Ferro neck and a Peter Florance 59 Voodoo neck pickup , the guitar KiKK Ass
This is a beautiful guitar but I never quite understood the pricing on it (not via Wildwood but the Fender CS). It's a beautiful guitar because of it's simplicity and plainness. It's not an art-piece guitar like some of the more extravagant CS pieces yet it costs almost $5K? Again, not upset with anyone (especially Wildwood) but it doesn't make "cents" to me.
It's not even wired out of phase, let alone to Albert Collins specific specs. He didn't have a middle position, he had a neck position that was just the nocaster, then his bridge position was his humbucker and nocaster wired out-of-phase. The same as with the Danny Gatton Telecaster, they don't even use Joe Bardon pickups, that's like going to Vegas and only partying at the airport.
That's a great guitar. Albert Collins would be proud of this Tele.
My dream guitar. Hopefully I will own one one fine day.
Albert Collins, the Ice Man, made me a fan of that guitar.
Keep them coming, Paul Brown!
Lovely work, Greg and Paul! Great to see these demos coming out 👍
Dang! Wish Albert could have seen this guitar! fantastic!
Great stuff as always!
Cool guitar, and cooler playing
I have never heard potiosh before, gonna have to use that one. Great video and playing. Thanks
Ice cold Gristle I can dig it!
Hello what is he playing at 2.20/2.30? It is great!!
Heck, Greg is just as "cool" as The Iceman himself!
Great guitar! Are the volume and tone pots both 250K?

I had one. Didn’t even know what it was
Living on a whole different continent, I'll probably never visit the guitar store, but I'll never get tired of watching Greg Koch here :D

Is any guitar worth 5k?

This caught my interest until I read the specs that stated it's finished in urethane.
Nitro finish only?
Nitro finish only?
Satin finish is good, I like to use Dead Flat nitro clearcoats, it’s very slippery
It's funny how a fender player wants to get a snap out of the humbucker.... 😀😀😀
Sweet but .... WHERE’S THE #&%*ing BRIDGE COVER???
Could have did a better job matching the grain on the body, come on custom shop
gotta have the capo
