I’m 61 but I just started stitching about a year and a half ago, you give me lots of confidence to keep going and keep buying that 40 count fabric and all the patterns😄 Thank you! Today I am sewing a quilt top as I watch. I put the closed captions on because I can't always hear everything with the AC unit nearby. It's always good for bonus chuckles. Like when eyelet becomes eyelid stitches! You know I haven't seen very many Thousand hills pieces on social media. I'm hoping you will keep at it. Happy Stitching!

We just rented the Minions Rise of Gru movie. All the referrals and music are my husband’s and my time period. Graduated high school 1972 and 1973 and married 1975. Kids might like it but we were laughing hysterically. We still have 2 days rental left and will watch it again.

I always love your videos. Being a history major I have given a lot of thought to how these young girls stitched. Now when I grew up in Montana I was expected to do alot. Girls back then grew up fast. Sometime married by 15 and having babies. So I can see that they stitched these samplers at very young ages.
I agree about eyelet stitches…i really like the look and don’t mind them at all. Yours are beautiful as is all your stitching. Oh goodness, please don’t stop showing your projects……I find it all so inspiring. In fact, you are the reason I no longer avoid pieces with 1 over 1 . And I am stitching fall already hoping to break the heat and drought in Texas!!
