From reading the website this seems to have a similar structure to Kingdom Death, but with legacy elements built into it. Looking forward to this title
I feel they’re setting the bar too high for themselves when they release other titles. This is a lot to keep up with, I fear they’re banking on making a lot of money for every title they may release. Go big or go home I guess. Good luck to them. A game like this always sounds good because of its ambitiousness, but hopefully it’s not all hype. The Kickstarter is probably going to be bonkers with all the content and walls of text to read about the game. I actually hope they don’t do stretch goals. The game seems like it already has enough content for a first time publisher, why complicate it?... cool video as always:) can’t wait to see what it’s all about.
@@tainteddragon9357 Standees bein cardboard. $179 for the set with the minis which is pretty expensive. I really like the design and the narrative with voice over even but the price is too high right now for me, especially because of the dec 2020 delivery date. I hope it's cheaper at release. Thanks to everyone who funds it now tho.
@@crashgaming247 You still get the heroes/ oathsworn as mini. Only the monsters / encounters are standees with $99 pledge. I think the $179 price is fair considering you are getting so much more minis with 18 encounters boxes unlocked.
Chiky Scares You I didn't watch the whole video so that's a real shame for me. I refuse to back anything on Kickstarter now, just over it. Sick of spending money on something that I won't see for at least a yr, sometimes longer because of the usual delays with publishers. Some are unreliable and poor communicators. It would have to be an amazing game for me to change my mind about backing another.
Yep. It's up to 4 players coop. It can also be played solo if you wish. The monsters are driven by tiered AI decks of cards. I'm not sure what I can say of the actual story yet but theoritical you'll say arrive in the city and have some narrative based on that. You may be greeted by someone that you can ask questions. You'll have options of where to go next like the blacksmith or tavern in a twisting tales choose your own adventure style book. This tracks time so after a while you'll end up in the monster encounter.
Hello, I'd call it a campaign game with legacy elements. You'll be opening hidden boxes as you progress but won't be stickering or destroying anything. The game can be played through as many times as you like. There are dice but it will also ship with a deck of cards you can draw from. The combat will still contain a random element but the cards will make it more consistent and less swingy. There will also be reroll/redraw tokens you can obtain and use. Appreciate it may still not be your kind of game but thought I'd clarify those points. Im not the dev but I'm one of the guys that was demoing it at the UK games expo.
Look forward to seeing more coverage on this game. Definitely looks like a game to watch! Love the current evolution of our hobby!
Legacy. Campaign. Story. Dice AND cards? I like what I'm hearing. I love what I'm seeing so far. 123 days and counting....
Wow top notch really looking forward to it. I hope the game play is strong the art looks awesome!
Thanks for the video, this has been my most anticipated game of 2019 (2020).

I love maps.
September for Aeon Trespass Odyssey and October for Oathsworn. 😊
This one looks like it's going to cost an arm and a leg...
Base set, $100. Standees for monsters. Minis for monsters are an add on.

Whoo, boy.. it's either going to be this or Etherfields...
Might be interesting.
I don't think I heard Kickstarter mentioned so that's a plus if it's going straight to retail, so over Kickstarter.
they mention it at the end :)

E Lowe awww I'm so hurt lol.
Time to start saving. I see a $150 price tag
Rob Salters $150+, Im thinking closer to a KDM price tag.
Any luck on the riddle?
3:42 If' you're trying to solve this riddle you won't - MvM didn't post all the clues.

Finally an app board game done right? I am tired of the mediocre FFG app experiences...
This looks so good, but I bet this will be expensive as fuck
Is this coop? What are the typical goals you have in a mission / scenario?

CoOp. Stories vary.
Choosing dice or cards?! Seems like a lazy design decision...
Legacy and dice. Such an easy pass. Pity about the great artwork though

Well, this is different then. Thanks for the reply, appreciate it!
