For some reason after the stars of Pinwheel, You Can't Do That on Television and Livewire performing in a Circus Wagon in 1982, the stars of Nickelodeon didn't return up until 1991 where it featured Doug, Funnie and Stimpy just to promote Nicktoons in which the launch turns out to make this cable channel even more beloved and recognisable when they were receiving more cable TV than ever before. They could've brought up a flan and slime performance for Double Dare before the whole Nicktoon thing happened, but sadly that is never confirmed nor happened.
Fun Nicktoons Fact: Did you know that Fred Newman of Livewire composed music and voiced Porkchop, Mosquito "Skeeter" Valentine and Mr. Bud Dink on Doug, and that Jim Jenkins who worked on Pinwheel created Doug.
