Binge-watching all your vids, while I list. 👍 Looked up and happened to notice the Dwight K. Schrute nameplate, behind you!👍🤣👏 My ENTIRE bathroom is decorated with a "Schrute Farms Bed & Breakfast" theme, beets 'n all! Lol Also, at Christmas, I decorate the outside of my house, with things from every Christmas episode of The Office. Last week, I created my own "Princess Unicorn" to highlight with a spotlight, in one of our windows. 😅 "Fa la la la la la la Ka-Ching". (Yes, I have a huge BELSNICKEL laminated sign, for the outside of the house, that says IMPISH. LOL) Anyway, loving all your videos!😀 👌 Thanks so much!!
You’re selling her right. It’s like a reverse silent auction. Take $500 cash back to the church, just don’t tell them what you bought or what it sold for. That $500 will come back to you ten fold! Believe me when I say this.
I've been sending toys to Mexico where I went to school and saw the hard life of alot of kids.at school in lunch time if you didnt have money you weren't eating, for my 2 years of school I split my 3 taco size burritos in half and shared with 5 classmates that there parents could only afford there bus money .
We tend to do several charity events a year, and donate to various local organizations, so this will definitely help us to do that! I think we’re going to have another charity auction here very shortly!
I can think of a million better places that any amount of money would be better off donated to than a church.... nothing against religion or anything like that but seriously.......
@@adammonahan687 I know, believe me, lol. It would just surprise them. Plus he said he finds stuff there regularly. AND people look down on us pickers, so when you bring them a little something out of the clear blue, kind of makes them eat their words, just a little :)
To get the stains out, use washing up liquid on the stains & rub in & put in the washing machine, turn the items with print on inside to stop the print rubbing off
Me too.....i s@@ the Tom Clark 'Gnomies' a lot in NC as that is where he is located. Just put 'Gramps' in the dishwasher with some Dawn and bleach to wash it off Reeeal good, then list it. Joke...Big Joke.
Great find, just FYI Tom Clark did not sign every piece made he traveled the country and did signings like a book signing. My mother has a large collection and we made many pilgrimages to get pieces signed.
Hi , just caught this video and loved it ! I love the way you let us know the value as you shop and what to look for. Got a little dizzy in the beginning when you walked fast. Lol. Great finds today. I am now subscribed so I can watch more of your adventures. Have a great day
This is the first time I've seen your videos .To say the least I will be watching again .I did subscribe .I was so pleased when you said that Ivy was worth at least $2000,and you didn't know that when you picked her up.I hope you do get a lot more money than that. Its guys like you that deserve to get one of those once in a lifetime deals.
I bought a huge collection of Tom Clark vintage gnomes and some others at a church rummage sale and I made a ton on them. Earlier this year I scored a big collection of pocket dragons and some of those sold for over $200.
Sometimes it's a good thing to follow your gut feeling. Love watching your videos. I have learned a lot. And know what to look out for when going to the Flea markets.
I would wonder who donated those statues. A local church sale, maybe someone that belongs to that church, probably local. Is the church in an affluent neighborhood? Well, nice to see my pickle holder was in good company in that sale! Kinda fun to see you find the item that I eventually bought! (Thanks Mark for letting Troy have it!)
It’s not a particularly well-off neighborhood or anything. I think it’s just one of those times where someone had something of their parents maybe that sat around for 30 years, decided to donate it.
Man what a sweet find!! cant wait to see the follow-up on ivy!!! If Stephen King wants it maybe you could trade for first edition signed books, i bet he has some laying around. lol
Great score mountain man those are the ones that keeps us hunting rain ot shine 🧐🤣 stephen king books Especially the books he did under Richard Buchanan " Rage " in orange cover in paperback. Just learned it from "Auction Professor" sells well over $1,000 .
Engrossed in this sale, completely forgot about the big money find, then you went into talking about Ivy and its history, throw in the no-footed Pez info and Batman’s stare- I just enjoyed myself so much watching this. Many thanks!
Omg I agree with you on the Crocs, I hate them but weird that they sell...my chiropractor told me to wear them in the house, I just really dislike how they feel 😖
I bought some Tom Clark at auction a few months ago. They are still in my death pile. Now I've got to keep an eye out for Ivy!!! Thanks for another great video!
Hey there Mountain Man I just stumbled on this video. I've watched many of your more recent videos. I'm a reseller also, relatively new. I was wondering if the piece featured in this video has sold? Can tou give me an update? Thank you my friend!
Yup, we discovered a couple of imperfections on her ultimately … very small bit still significant when you’re charging top dollar. So we did end up accepting an offer … buyer was in about $1300
Huge score on the statue. I agree nothing less than. 2000.00 on this item. The kingdom item wasn't too bad at 100.00. The rest was good sellable items. I would be very patient on selling this item(statue).
After you sale Ivy consider making a large donation to that church . You will pocket a great pay day and the church will put that cash to good use .Dumb luck , karma , gut feeling or the Lord working in mysterious ways .
man i gotta get out to pick wherever you are lol! not even the super valuable ceramics but those toys and electronics were so much better than what im typically finding at sales like these
@@MountainManTreasure i just cant seem to find any older toys, either its baby toys and things made in the last 2 years, or all "old people stuff" thats a bit out of my wheel house. Your dakin monkey pickup helped me out at goodwill this week though, good brand to bolo

Love your channel Brother! My wife & I are slowly getting into resell and it’s enjoyable! Like you, I was in radio here in Houston in the early 90’s!
Steven King, if you're watching, here ya go !!! Good luck, Mountain Man.

“I’m Batman”
Great find on Ivy! If she's that rare I would price her at $4,000!
Great find, Mountain Man. I also trust my gut and it generally works out for me. I’ll say that years of experience has helped tune our “gut feelings”.
Holy moly 8:48 scared the hell out of me LOL
Scared me, then I burst into laughter. Had to rewind and watch it a couple of times 😂😂
I thought it was a fun little keeper of a few seconds :)
Great find! Good for you-will look forward to seeing how it does and will definitely keep an eye out for Tom Clark! Thank you-nice video. :-)
Congratulations on the great find! I always try to pickup any kind of art if priced for few bucks.

Wow! Good job and good luck on selling your gnome statues, be sure to take good care of it and ship it with extra insurance.

At 6:25 on the left side of the toy table is a bumble ball. Can be worth picking up if it’s the 1993 version especially. :)
Didn’t know that one!

I listen to my gut too and sometimes it pays off😁
Did anyone pick up that Casio SK-1 Sampling Keyboard at 1:48? It’s an easy 100.00 in good working condition..
Not sure - I was going to look at it but I’ve actually got, I think, two keyboards already sitting in my pile

Just amazed and what I learn here.
Good pull and eye. See all them other resellers were simply lying for what the you tubers told them to look for.

I don’t think there is, at least not anything large. And it’s just your basic “Tom Clark!” :)

Love ivy!
