@@impowaster I was at the same gig in 1998, and dEUS blew Placebo off the stage, so when the headliners came on, I wasn't that impressed. I was there mainly to see dEUS anyway as I was a huge fan from their WCS album, but I also wanted to find out what the fuss was about Placebo. After the dEUS set I just stood out near the entrance foyer chatting to other fans about how godlike dEUS were anyway. Next year the Ideal Crash album and Instant Street came out and they were at the next level altogether. Placebo? What happened to them?
I went to see them in Reykjavik, Iceland, many years later but outstanding energy and great music. I miss them. I love this. Sugarcubes had their moment but dEUS rarely have a dull one. This hits a nerve .
