- Living Full Time In a Mercedes Benz Sprinter Self Converted Camper Van.
My name is Sean, i have been living Full Time Van Life in the Sprinter van again for around 8 months now.
Driving to Scotland and meeting up with @PackTheVanAndGo and enjoying time with Rob and his amazing dog Archie. Driving to some amazing park ups and sleeping at some of Scotlands best kept secret locations. Its time to chill. Storms, Blizzards and some angry locals......
I started this lifestyle because of my 20 year broken relationship.
Ive started to put my life back together and build for a future. I have turned my original van into a badass camper van that is lifted with all the toys, bells and whistles. Over the years Ive converted a Standard V6 long wheel base sprinter van to now, living fulltime in a jacked up van with Siri and Alexa as my companions and driving off-grid into the country and living life and moving forward .

Yes I have fitted the General Grabbers GT3 at the cost of £168 each 245.75.16. In my opinion they are a first class tyre, no road noise, zero aqua planning, in fact hitting running water on motorways in a sudden downpour is like driving on dry roads. The van is super stable with a little more flexibility in the tyre and I really like that. There is no noticeable difference in mpg as the rolling radius is slightly up because of a larger profile from a 70 even with a mapped V6 engine. Can’t recommend them enough. So far they have been on the sprinter for well over a year and a half with no tyre wear . Possibly I bit cheaper than the BFG and I’ve never got stuck yet which is a bonus 👍👍👍

Tell me pal, that diesel heater you have in the camper, is it one of those £85-100 ones off eBay & if so, was it easy enough to fit & set up?
Do you still rate it after your Scottish trip?
Yes its a Cheap Chinese one, I will admit that the very 1st one i very brought was for my old transit van and that was absolutely amazing , nice and quiet and that was a 2kw heater, I then got the sprinter and brought a 5kw but its to much so brought a 2kw again and swapped it over, unfortunately this one is ok,but its fan is a bit noisy and the pump is quiet loud, I did by the ultra quite pump, and thats better but if i turn the heater up to max the pump cant keep up. I will be honest i think the 1st Chinese heaters were brilliant but the new one's not so. Im am looking at the 4kw Planner so you may want to have a look at them, they are quite a bit more, but hopefully you get what you pay for. The Chinese ones are a bit of a lottery .

Hi Guys, bit of bummer with the drone but hay ho, one of them very expensive mistakes but it is what it is, the mini owner was just being a D1ck and not worth the hassle, best reaction is no reaction and not rise to it, glad you got your drone back, i still have the DJI mini so all is not lost. Been watching your epic travels and the van is holding up well. ❤️❤️

I got it from the garage that sells loads of great stuff in glencoe opposite the police station on the way to signal rock, i must admit i didn’t think it would be much cop, but it really is well worth £7. I was a bit guttted i didnt get to come over and see how amazing rose is inside, hopefully one day i can come and have a proper chat and spend time in your amazing van, best wishes always Max 👍👍👍

I lost my Dji Mavic to a tree and Waterfall (felt sick for a while). Had to get a new one and also took out insurance. 7 quid a month. Great post though and Happy New Year bud

Having a air fryer is probably one of the best things in the van. Chips and kfc style chicken is 100% the best.
