    RUST Electrical | How To Network HBHF Sensors - 2023
    In this video I show you how to build a network of HBHF Sensors that trigger a single input on whatever you would like to trigger. Applications include base lockdown systems, lights, alarms, RUST+, whatever you need.

    Super underrated TH-camr. Keep up the great work. I don’t know anybody else that goes as in depth as you do.

    After much playing around to try and chain HBHF sensors like this I had also eventually realised how awesome these RF tools are. This is the best way to do it that I've found so far. Not just because it is easier, but also because it gives you total control of the output power at the RF receiver, regardless of which or how many HBHF sensors trigger. You can chain them to other systems like this as well, for example tying in your wall-raid detection system into it also. Don't forget these can also trigger your smart alarms so you can get alerts on your Rust+ app. Additionally, in these setups you could also have a backup receiver in case the other is destroyed. The possibilities are virtually endless.

    Bro, your videos are awesome. I've been binge watching them but I have one suggestion. Please make a "for dummies" video for idiots like me. I still have a hard time following along after watching several times lol.

    Great video. Got a challenge for you. It should be plausible. Wire up an auto turret behind double garage doors that open with a hbhf sensor that also turns on a siren light, search light(s), tesla coil(s), flasher light, and audio alarm, it also transmits a signal to a pager using the RF transmitter and resets itself with a timer after a period of time. Use as little power as possible and make a video out of it. Let us know how much power is needed to make it work. I think you can do it.

    Public Service Announcement:
    Using a splitter when having 3 rust electrical items that each have the same power requirements. For example 3 HBHFs, 3 auto turrets or 3 water pumps. You save 2 Rust Watts of power if you use a splitter for those 3 items instead of branches. You also save 125 metal frags using 1 splitter instead of 3 electrical branches.
    This has been a public service announcement. You may now resume your regularly scheduled programming.

    ok, perhaps i'm missing something here, but why on the wired version do you overwork the HBHFs with AND switches? Surely you can just use splitters to feed each HBHF and the outputs (when someone is sensed) can be put into the OR switches direct.

    Hey! Quick question -- I'm curious as to how you would be able to add a counter(s) to the 'Wireless Build' @ 4:54 . The idea would be able to see the total number of people around all deployed HBHF sensors. Thanks and keep up the good work!

    Hbhf sensors and rf recievers will output 1 power even if they only recieve 1 power. Branches limit you to 2 obviously but you could potentially make this even more economical using splitters. At least I'm like 90% sure that's the case.

      any idea if this is the case for turret detection as well?

    • @nicclayton9291
      @nicclayton9291 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@CoCaptainJack nope, turrets only passthrough if they have 11rw. That said 11rw is enough for them to pass through all 3 passthroughs at once, with 1rw each.

    You only need 1 for the hbhf sensor, it will trigger with just 1 volt going to it

    So we had 120 turrets surrounding our outside wall, we had blue lights also surrounding the wall, normally the blue lights would flash to show its peaceful, once a turret had target it would turn the blue lights off and turn the red lights on around the whole base. This worked great using broadcasters until we ran into an issue where they would keep broadcasting after killing someone. Only fix we found was to turn the turrets on and off as to reset their targeting. We did originally have 120 broadcasters and we thought maybe that was the issue so we condensed using ands/ors and we got it down to 8 broadcasters, but for some reason it still has the same bug issue with triggering and staying on. Any help greatly appreciated
