The infamous Chee-Z 101 sound engine lives on! I owned a couple of them for many years; there are a ton of alternatives that sound better. And easier, and more fun to program.
Anyways, you're doing great Kris. You don't have to wait for covid to be over to live and spread light in today. Big or small, you set a great example. Im so proud of you bro/sis
Dude, that last patch was brutal. Keith Emerson would be proud. Is that the blackstar bass or the regular fly 3? Hey if you get the chance, try running thru a pignose amp. Really makes synth tones come alive!
Thank you very much bro. It’s the regular fly Blackstar battery powered amp. I will take your advice man when I come across a pignose amp. Stay happy, healthy, and safe🎹🤟
Hard to say. It’s a hard synth to program until you get used to it. I’d try more simple synths first like the Volca Series and then move on when you feel more comfortable
Man the cz makes a terrible keytar. Whatever possessed them to put strap buttons but no neck. And it’s too bulky for a keytar. I wish I had got a cz101 instead. Same engine but a more studio friendly size.
@@kentaccordionist I’m looking for a CZ 101 myself. The programming isn’t all that hard, and the slim keys are easier to play leads. Thanks for watching and commenting. Happy New Year.🎆🎊🎈
@ it’s a shame korg didnt see fit to put strap buttons on the microkorg and neck as well. These days what’s needed is a decent controller like the alesis vortex but with buttons for switching midi Chanel on the neck. That way you can use Bluetooth midi to control different expanders and just switch Chanel to access the different ones. You could assign the percussion pads for the purpose of changing channel but I think some up down buttons or a joystick on the neck would be in a more useful position.

I’ve used guitar pedal thru this to make the sound editing a breeze. It’s still an awesome keytar. Thanks for watching and commenting.
great vid! thanks from Vietnam :)

I shall continue on
If you made stickers with your face on it I would buy at least one! I am an owner of the cz 1. You're too cool bro. Thanks!
Super duper nice of you to say. Health, hugs, and happiness to you and yours from Las Vegas 🎹🤟.
those 80s synths sure had great aesthetics
I love how cheesy the gel buttons are in the Casio CZ-1000. So ridiculously 80s

Hey dude, awesome videos. Is it true this keyboard needs an amplifier to make sound. Someone told me that it doesn’t have in built speakers.
It does not have built in speakers.
Do you recommend me to buy the casio cz 1000? or look for another synth?

@ I totally agree. I’d buy that keytar if they produced it. Happy New Year, and make some awesome music!
