It didn't used to be that way. But in the wake of all the light novels that have been coming out over the last decade or so, it was easier to pull a quick sentence on what the series was about than it was to come up with a book title.

Well there were using restraining magic and chains so it it's hard to get out off
because in this story not all heroes are created equally. some have natural abilities that make them a hero. i.e the archer chick who can revive people and the wizard with his op magic you saw early in the story. this hero was gifted a holy sword and became known as the greatest swordsmen due to the relic. end of the day these heroes are appointed due to their gift or ability. they didn't grind their way up to hero status like alot of isekais where they are super op and untouchable. they are just mortal humans with exceptional abilities at the end of the day. you could argue in your head canon that because he was reaching for the sword, the sword is what gives him his hero abilities since he does not posses any natural resistances to magic or have any abilities to defend himself besides the sword.
Your recap are the best but you need to make some recaps like you used to before your recap are the best.
