@@HoopAndLife love your content homie. Keep up the inspirational content and i hope the season starts up for you guys soon. If not, you can come back to LA and bust these suckahs up on the court. Much love and respect.
The appearance of these are deceiving honesty. They feel chunky or clunky do to them having so much bottom half. That stability flange piece on the outside is not well thought out. It definitely changes how you naturally take and land your basic steps and they are not Cushy or soft at All, nobody is beating adidas boost cushion right now whether yiu like it them or not. You do have to really lace them firmly to get a good lock down otherwise your back foot / heel will move up and down a bit too much. Don't waste your money on these.
Appreciate the honest review. Ngl, I was hyped about that shoe, especially being older, heavier and coming off meniscus surgery a few months ago. I'm always looking for a max cushion type shoe but I can't sacrifice stability for cushion. I'll hold off on these until they fall under retail but I'll likely still give them a try down the road. Awesome review!! 🤙
@@musalah1 I have the 34s as well and they're not too bad. The KD12 were really comfortable but a little too narrow and I don't have wide feet. @@thiccfriedokra9189 definitely a knee brace, I play in a compression knee brace which works wonders for me. As far as kicks, I have the 34's and KD13. Prefer the KD cushion feel. I've literally tried or purchased almost every signature shoe this year, haven't played in them all or played in them long enough to break in, but so far the KD and Marquee Boost lows are probably my favorite to use for cushion.

@@stillcold well for me these shoes been having grip for days, And the comfort is A1. Granted I don't just play with these i switch them out with other shoes i got. But All the times I have wore them they did the job.

Double stacked REACT each one with a different density, REACT insole and forefoot ZOOM. Only thing keeping this from being EPIC on court is that the stacked REACT makes it high and it needs an outrigger. I got these for $70@ outlets last year. Not worth $180 but KILLER KILLER @$70...
Yep, those definitely look like a big man type of shoe. All of that cushion is sacrificing stability and smaller players like guards need that stability
big guys need stability too. You got all that weight shifting side to side when making moves and landing after jumps. Only a literally standing statue would be able to play in these i think lol
This is pretty much a ruuner who tried to make a basketball shoe...this needed leather on the side walls and two 3 straps toe, midfoot and ankle. Who plays bb without lateral explosiveness...?
I’m a 6’4 200 pound guard and the KD 12 was perfect for my size and quick movements/jumper /impact protection. Y’all think these are similar? I love bouncy shoes that put a lil bounce in my step to help me pop into a jump shot or make my dunks feel easier
I mean on stockx they under retail so if u can cop since ur a bigger dude you might want some of that cushion. I never had the kd12 so unfortunately cant say anything ab those I cant say much tho bru I'm 5 7 lmao
The upper material is not strong enough to support the movement of the forefoot in the shoe, it will produce a great deformation when you are doing a large lateral movement. In addition, the forefoot sole is too thick and too soft, which will not provide you with stable support when you are doing lateral movements. Although the traction is amazing, I will never buy a basketball shoe like this to play on the court. Anyway, a good shoe for walking or running, after all, with crazy cushioning. Nike has been losing its conscience in making basketball shoes.
Thanks man for the nice review. Was considering these for like an every day show for long days at college on hard surfaces because of the cushioning, but now not so sure for the price. What do you think? Can you wear these or basketball sneakers in general for all day comfort where you are on your feet doing a lot of walking and standing? thanks
it seems like you can't have cushion and court feel. it's like pick one...maybe in the future they'll design something super low to the ground with solid impact protection. for now my favorite shoes as a shifty guard kobe 8, 9, and 11 if traction wasn't an issue. i don't care about cushion as much as court feel and stability. keep rolling my ankles in all those "comfy" ball shoes high off the ground.
Nice review, damn I was so excited with this shoe but then again this review had me thinking now. Does it have that sinking feeling in the heel? I really don't like the sinking feeling in the heel which is kinda dangerous for achilles. Would be good to get a feedback on this one, thanks for the review.
Good review except the insole part. It’s actual a react insole and is better than most the insoles that come out in any shoes nowadays. My pair is coming in mail I’m very excited about the cushion and can’t wait to try on
Got em, felt like I had to break them in twice. After the 1st casual wear and then again midway thru my 1st wear on court. Beefy cushion but didn't hinder me running 💨 though. Feels something like a runner anyways
At least for me, the top laces seem to really cut into where my foot and ankle come together. It is quite uncomfortable. Outside of that, I like the shoes.
Maannn Nike has been raising their prices lately. I would cop these if they were in sale, but for that price? Nah I would go with shoes under $150 but still offer comfortability and stability
this is a dope shoe but i will wait until the price drops and other colorways release, i like the react implementation but i think that is to much for a basketball shoe , i like the react being caged and only on the heel and the zoom on the forefoot, like the G4 or the Jordan elevation and to be honest those 2 shoes are cheaper and have the same tech, this is just react on steroids like the alphadunk with zoom lol , anyways the shoe is not bad i will definitely grab a pair once new colorways come up
They look dope as fuck but man that lateral movement con is just terrible. The cushioning on these look amazing though, nike just gotta rework the shoe to make it lower to the ground
If these kind of shoes comes out every year I'm done with the overhyped Signature line starting from Kobe Protros and mostly wannabe OG retro Jordans. Peace✌
Lucky enough to copped an pair here in Australia, I feel like I need to go down half size on these, TTS on these the forefoot area is just too wide for me
