I love your video’s the best!! I actually have learned so much from you. The camera angle is awesome. You explain what you are doing as you go along. You go slow enough so I can see and understand everything you are doing. You are by far my favorite. Thank you so much for each video!!
First off thanks so much for your very well explained video. My question is how long should the ropes be after hanging them on the dowl ? Thanks ahead of time
Thank you!! The length of your ropes really depends on how big you want to make this wall hanging. In this video, my ropes are about 7 ft (3.5 ft after hanging) long, which leaves a lot of extra length to add more rows. Keep in mind that your last few rows won’t use as much length, so the last couple ropes you add onto the dowel rod can be shorter then the other ropes.
Omg thanks for making this video! I’ve been trying to figure this out for weeks! Hadn’t found a simple straight forward explanation on it yet. I love your simple instructional videos. They are sooooo helpful! 💜💜💜
Question: How long do you typically cut your ropes? I am wanting to make one of these for my baby nursery in a medium-large size.. but I'm not sure how long to cut my ropes to make sure that I have enough...
Somehow mine isn’t turning out like yours :(. I am following how you tie your knots, but as i pull them tight, they don’t look like yours do. What am I doing wrong?!? I keep trying and failing!!
I used 7ft of rope as suggested in the bio but it was far too much rope for the macrame teeter I was making. Easy to follow tutorial though, really please with how it turned out. Thanks!
Such a great video! I feel like I’m doing something wrong though, I got the technique down, just down know why my rope is ending mid circle, am I not tying it right enough? It looks like there’s a gap each time. I’m not sure if this made sense
The gaps are very common in this method, so I believe you are tying it right. I slide my ropes around and adjust them after I have tied the design to minimize the gaps and have always found it works well for me. An alternative method if you find your gaps are just too big is to tie another rope on where the gap is with a reverse lark’s head knot. I hope this helps!
How would you continue this pattern to mAke it bigger? It is hard to understand which side you add another string to or tie another knot to and why? Thanks!
Hey! Thank you for this video, you made it super easy to catch up :) I have one question. Can I go further with this pattern? I mean, can I start making another patterns under this semi circle or is it going to be impossible? I can’t find anywhere a macrame with semi lunar and other patterns below.
I don’t see why you couldn’t. You can give it a try, and remember that you can always untie your knots if it doesn’t look right. You could also create a layer under the simi lunar and make a fun pattern that way too! 😊
The beginning is great, where you’re talking us through it. But you lost me at the second part going in the opposite direction because I can’t tell which strings are going over/under each other. 😢
You can slow the video down by changing the playback speed. Just click on the 3 dots on the video screen to find this feature. Of course this will make the voice instructions sound weird, you if you do this you might want to watch on mute haha.

What is the tall of the roop sweaty
How Would you do an alternative semi lunar circle under the ones that you have done across your dowel
So how do you finish top

Quiero q la tutoría sea en español
If you hold the working cord straight across while making the knots it’s soooo much easier to learn
Somehow mine isn’t turning out like yours :(. I am following how you tie your knots, but as i pull them tight, they don’t look like yours do. What am I doing wrong?!? I keep trying and failing!!
Привет из России! Мне очень нравится Ваше плетение!!!! Спасибо большое за уроки! 😍
I'm saving this video....😁 Like everybody said, THANK YOU THANK YOU SO MUCH
I can’t seem to do it. It’s so simple and I follow what you’re doing but I can’t get it to look like that
I want to make ten rows using 4mm cord. I want a long fringe. Will 7 feet be long enough or do I need more? Thank you
I guess yess
Will I be able to make this with 4mm braided cord as well? Or do I need rope?
Yes, braided cord will work great for this! 😊
When I try this, my knots don’t come all the way around the the bottom like yours to make a circle
I used 7ft of rope as suggested in the bio but it was far too much rope for the macrame teeter I was making. Easy to follow tutorial though, really please with how it turned out. Thanks!
Yes 7ft is too much rope waste,so I used 1.50cm was so good for those who asking

Thankyou for this video
Thank you for explaining it so well 💜
A medida que se avanza hay que agregar cuerdas entrmedio,si no el tejido queda curvo ,no plano.
😮
How would you continue this pattern to mAke it bigger? It is hard to understand which side you add another string to or tie another knot to and why? Thanks!
I want to know too - I want to make ten rows. Did you make yours and how long did you make your cords?
Very nicely explained
