匡智會 (前香港弱智人士協進會) 於1965年成立，初期只為4名智障兒童提供特殊教育。時至今天，匡智會已發展成為一所專為智障人士服務的非牟利機構。現時，匡智會轄下共有超過80個服務單位，為約7,000名不同年齡及智障程度的人士提供「一條龍」服務，包括學前教育、特殊教育、職業訓練、庇護工場、輔助就業服務、展能中心及住宿服務、成人教育及康樂服務等。
Hong Chi Association (formerly The Hong Kong Association for the Mentally Handicapped) began in 1965 as a class for just four children with intellectual disabilities. Today, Hong Chi has grown to become an non-profit organization in Hong Kong dedicated solely to serving people with intellectual disabilities. The Association operates over 80 service units to provide “through-train” services including pre-school care, special education, job training, sheltered workshops, supported employment services, day and residential services, adult education, social and recreational programmes to some 7,000 people of all ages and with all grades of intellectual disabilities.
