That box looks spot on Simon and a great price too, really like the padding inside which I'm sure you don't get with the high end boxes. I have to agree about Simon in Fife, he's a top bloke!
Thanks, I was impressed with the padding and internal pockets myself. I think it might match an under seat lining for the bike I’ve ordered from Aliexpress.
@@scottishzoomer the padding will certainly eliminate any rattling from things in your top box. I have a towel in my top box to stop my locks from rattling about
Thanks a lot from 🇩🇪. I am considering to buy a SR GT 125 for my motorhome and am looking for reviews of accesoirs all over the internet. Love your videos! 💙🤍💙
@@ianstevens5022 great, Simon mentioned the listing had come down so he assumed you’d sold it. Hope your wife has a fun with it, they’re good scooters.
That box looks great SIMON. I agree with the comments about the leading brand ones. I did buy the Givi Dolomiti which is a 30 litre aluminium box and it works well for me but I can see that yours is even more practical. You’ll be able to carry more camping gear when we finally go on an Aprilia SR GT mini tour soon 😁 Great video once again 👍
these alu box are really looking good on the aprilia, but they are not really duo friendly….. my wife will for sure prefer the actual SHAD 39 with backpost :)
Hiya, do you mind measuring the internal dimensions? Ebay listing says 41.5cm * 33cm * 31cm which I presume is external I'm thinking the 55L version is a bit bigger and might be big enough to fit my boots, but not sure how far off the internal/external dimensions are Cheers
@@scottishzoomer Cheers, very helpful I saw the 45L on offer for £110 and the 55L is £180, but only the 55L will fit my boots it seems Hope it's not too big, don't want it covering the underseat storage
@@scottishzoomer 55L version arrived today, fits on the bike nicely and has enough room for full height Leatt boots, cheers for the inspiration and the help

Thanks very much, good luck with your bike if you decide to go ahead 👍
It looks a sturdy Topbox,Simon. We will see how it performs. All the best. Ian(Musselburgh).👍🏍️
Thanks Ian, the old Givi one used to rattle about on it’s plastic plate so I’m hoping this one is a bit more substantial.
@@scottishzoomer I ended up keeping my Sym 200i as my wife likes that compared to my CB500X !😜🏍️

Hi, that’s no problem, I’ll do it tomorrow. My box is the 45 litre version.
So the internal dimensions are: Height including lid space 28cm, Width (side to side) 38cm, Depth (back to front) 31cm - Hope that’s some help 👍
