- It's coming together nicely... and starting to close in, one wall at a time. Getting that upper shop side wall of the master bedroom loft space up really made a difference and kind of feels and looks massive now from the shop side.

You've got a great Crew! 😉 Do you Sharpen your saw blades? Best regards, Butch from Sand Hollow Idaho.
Leave wall studs long where they hit your rafters. Nail directly to rafter, no top plate needed.
best thing is find the lower spot measure from that remove 1/8 of an inch and make a jig from that .. youll save a lot of time on measuring and cutting and youre gonna be sure your wall is straight from one way to an other... and when you want to check your straight do it with a 8 foot level or place your cord from the middle section not on top..... then take you saw and saw on the way in bend... place a nail on the top of it and youll get your stud wall straight.... always make sure to check your square from the top start to the down end... good job ... hard work always pay ! oh and one more thing... ! thats a personnal choice but i like to use my speed square to make a cut with the skill saw it garanty a square cut aaaaand also help from keep your wall straight ! ;) thats a nice family projets ... !! :)
Thank you for the tips. I am learning a lot of this as I go, so the tips are very helpful. Thanks for watching.
