- After Chemical Plant being destroyed, everyone got ejected and Sonic and his pals have returned to Knuckles' position, so they are all united again! (almost). But after all these events, they sure need a moment to rest. Meanwhile, and insisting on the "Mean", there's a reunion with the other cloned hedgehogs, and it sure be announcing something for next upcoming episodes...

When Sonic pats Tails' head, it was very heartwarming. Sonic and Tails are not only just best friends but they are like brothers.

Aquatic Ruin is one of my personal favorite water levels! Can't wait for whatever funny moment of Sonic and his friends underwater might happen. You know, the "You're about to drown" moments! 😁😁
Also I forgot to comment on the last episode, I took a guess that Amy would show up, and she did! Along with Cream and Big! 😄😄
And at the end of the episode, looks like the trio now have a perception of what's going on! I hope we get to see at least some of their story in this episode!

I’m not sure if this is gonna be my most favorite episode in Season 2. The detailing is just amazing, the plot is actually looking amazing, you made Tails and Sonic use their tag move in Sonic 4, you made Aquatic Ruin into Sylvania Castle, and you somehow managed to sneak in calming music for a relaxing bossfight. The Sonic 4 making a return here, it’s just amazing. It really was one of my most favorite games along with it’s soundtrack and I am so grateful that you did that. You have no idea how amazed I am of this episode. This was definitely worth the delay.

The calm music for a boss fight was probably the funniest part of the series to date.

Team Sonic is officially back together again!! Nice to know that there will be more to the clones, especially the orange one. Honestly, I am deeply enjoying this series. Definitely looking forward to more.

Literally he is using old zones in TSA SEASON 2........AND I LOVE IT!, aquatic ruins is my favourite sonic 2 water zone and it has platforms to go on than inside the water, it is better than labyrinth zone
Edit:in the beginning, shadow and metal sonic are working together to get the others, is that a sonic rivals 2 reference?
Another edit:why does it feels like orange sonic and neon are going to become iconic rivals, and the part where sonic pats tails head when he was sleeping was very emotionally cool and heartwarming, it shows that sonic really cares for tails like a brother
Oh man, another awesome episode indeed! Can't wait for the next one!
We start the episode with a slight reference to Sonic Oddshow while Chemical Plant Zone falls apart and everyone falls and Knux gets hit by Sonic.
We then keep the reference going by making one of the Sonic Recolors try to outrun an arrow... only to fail. (I hate that, S2...)
Then we shift from Sonic 2 to Sonic 4 Episode 2 with both Tag Team and Music.
Before long, METAL SONIC GETS A VOICE! :D
After that, More S4E2 music (Honestly my favorite track out of that game)! Tails gets head rubs, too.
Then we might as well have seen Neon's official Life Icon.
Sonic then waits as Eggman's on S2's autopilot.... then we get a moment of Eggman outright MISSING Sonic AND the pillar (Thanks a lot for making Sonic lose his rings, Knucklehead...)! On the bright side, Knuckles OWNS Eggman with his OWN hammer! And then invite to the casino.
That's a bit of story for me to type...
That was great! Can't wait to see ya do Casino Night Zone next.
I like how it beacame sonic 4 episode 2 beacuse sonic and tails did that ability to swim with sonic underwater its so cool! Nice job!

I love how at the Eggman fight Sonic stays on top of the poles and that's litteraly my strategy on how to beat the aquatic ruin boss😂🤣.
amazing! you have plenty of creativity bro I got goosebumps all over! the wait for this series was worth it. a and detail I realized that in s.t.a1 (sonic team adventures1) sonic walks with sprites similar to sonic1 and in s.t.a2 he has a sprite similar to sonic2, incredible detail!

That was really great the transition of Aquatic Ruin to Sylvania Castle, the way Sonic cares about Tails more then his best friend like his little bro, and eggman just giving them advice to go to the next zone without trying to get revenge

Note: Are the last two references just badniks? Yes. These badniks only appear in Sylvania Castle of Sonic 4 Episode II and not in Sonic 2's Aquatic Ruin. Very attentive to details.
