This is my Annick Goutal Eau D'Hadrien Eau De Parfum For Bastille Day video. This is a a quick review for Annick Goutal's iconic fragrance from the early 1980s, Eau D'Hadrien. This is for the Eau D'Hadrien in the women's bottle which comes in Eau De Parfum concentration. I find Annick Goutal's Eau D'Hadrien perfect for Bastille Day especially since Bastille Day falls smack dab in the middle of summer. It's the best combo of lemon, citron, citruses and woody cypress notes. Very refreshing and one of my favorite scents to wear for almost 20 years when I purchased my very first bottle. If you haven't smelled Eau D'Hadrien by Annick Goutal I highly recommend it. Do it now! :)

I"ve sampled a number of frags from this house and they do 'fresh' in a most delightful way. This one is so highly recommended by other perfume lovers that I need to give it a try. Thank you for the opportunity, I live in PA, US.
This has been my signature scent since 2007, after vacationing on Italy's Amalfi Coast and seeking a fragrance to remind me of the trellised lemons all over Ravello, Amalfi and Capri. This scent transports me to when I was enveloped by the 'la dolce vita' lifestyle in Italy. Wear it year-round.

Totally agree :) This one and Acqua Decima by Eau D`Italie is my top citrus fragrance.
I tried this one recently and it was love at first sniff. I fall in love with lemony fragrances quite recently.
It’s a very fresh pleasant scent but doesn’t last on my skin unfortunately. If they could fix that I would definitely reach for it often

Sounds like something I could use right now in this ridiculous heat and humidity in the southeast! Annick Goutal is a house that I'm a little scared to try after a blind buy gone horribly wrong lol, but may give this a try next time I buy samples. Thanks!

Sebastian, it seems like you hook me with every video. :-) Then I usually go to the perfume houses' websites or sales outlet and order samples! What a great recommendation. I would never have thought of Annick Goutal.

After listening to Sebastian’s recommendation, I am sure I would enjoy Eau d’Hadrien EDP. The other fragrances mentioned above sound wonderful as well. The fragrance I will wear to celebrate Bastille Day will be Verveine d’Été from Le Jardin Retrouvé. Basil, lemon, bergamot, verbena and oak moss. Perfect for a summer day. The fragrance was created by Yuri Gutsatz, who created the first niche brand in 1975 based on his idealistic notions, and this brand has been recently re-launched by his son Michel. There are also articles on [the Cafleurebon] website about Yuri Gutsatz.

Tom Eau D'Hadrien is one of my favorite fragrances and going on 20 years almost since the first time I wore it. It's a great tart, refreshing citrus. I hope you get to check it out and or perhaps win that bottle if you participated in the giveaway on Cafleurebon.com! :)

Got this for a great price surprisingly thru Wal-Mart ($87) and I can't wait for summer to enjoy it! Trying to find others from the line if u have any suggestions
You know I've considering exploring Annick Goutal fragrances over the years, but it's a house that I just can't seem to get excited about. I purchased Annick Goutale Nuit Etoilee Eau de Parfum for a gal pal a couple years ago and it's good, but it didn't Wow! me. Anyway, I"ve considered adding this one to my cart many times over the years...perhaps I'll do soon. We shall see. Enjoyed the heads-up on the giveaway.
Give it a try Jim! I love this house. Annick Goutal along with Penhaligon's were the first niche houses I fell in love with in the late 90s. Still love both! :)

I had to laugh - I had the same first experience as you: an extremely hot and humid day about 20 years ago at the Saks Fifth Avenue store near me. It was on display at a counter midway between men's and women's goods, fitting for a unisex scent. I thoroughly enjoyed the scent for hours after in that awful heat and have been a fan ever since. In fact I'm currently out and need to replenish!

I'm one of the biggest fans of Annick Goutal fragrances. I have Mandragore Pourpre but never wore the Mandragore alone. I also have Ninfeo Mio, Nuit Etoille EDT Nuit Etoille EDP, La Nuit D'Hadrien, Eau De Monsieur, Duel, Sables their Oud and probably a few others! :)

I've yet to find an Anouck goutal fragrance that I like I'm very slowly buying them as they are pricey.
The stuff is horrible. I literally threw the small bottle I purchased out. One of the worst fragrances I ever put on my skin. Not much more I can say. Maybe it was a stale old batch. It was horrible!
