Those are some great books. You have a great collection🔥🔥 I only have a couple sketch books, New Mutants 98 and Daredevil 187. It's so expensive to get them done but I can appreciate the work that goes into it. I did send 3 books to get Chris Claremont to sorta sketch the SNIKT on them, Wolv 1 limited and unlimited and Marvel presents Wolv 1. These aren't investment books for me, just my books and I think will look great next each other. Oh and I asked for gold colour lol. You should do a top 10 favorite books that aren't known or invest type books. I have lots lol, first Halo and first Assassin's Creed comics won't be worth much but have an attachment with my son to these games. I just got back Yosemite Sam and Bugs Bunny 1 which I don't think many searching for lol. Or do a top 10 list of spec mistakes. Invincible Iron Man 9 variant, Marvel Team-up 95 newsstand and Venom Lethal Protector 1 newsstand to name a few for me. Heh I considered the snikt for Claremont too, but I guess after all he's not an artist so kinda odd to ask him to draw on a book. I've seen some cool ones from Claremont tho! First Halo and assassin Creed! Cool I didn't even know those were made into comics! So happy you and your son play games together makes me think back to when my dad and I played Street fighter, haha Sometimes the best books are the ones with sentimental value to you vs the market!
He is into D&D so I got 2 9.8 D&D 1 and then I picked up the complete run for him of the first series. When he was really little we used to watch spongebob all the time so I've been slowly grabbing key issues of that. 1,43, 85 and just snag a great high grade copy of 29 that will be heading to CGC when I get it in. I agree not everything is a gold key book, sometimes it's fun to get the stuff you like even if it's dollar bin books. Saying that spongebob books are not dollar bin books, would be easier to get the entire run lol.
Patrick is my guy . I drive my wife nuts talking like him all the time. I got super lucky with D&D. I picked up a nice raw 1 clean press and sent off came back 9.8. I had been looking to pick up a complete run but asking price was always north of $250 for mid grade copies. I happened to see a complete set on ebay but only had 1 photo of the first issue and it looked super nice and they wanted $75 for it all. I didn't wait or think about it just bought. It showed up no bags or boards in a box with newspaper stuffed around it and let me just say that nothing and I mean nothing was damaged 😎 Issue 1 came back a 9.8 from cgc and I didn't send any others so my boy can read them, but 17 of the 36 are 100% 9.8 and all the rest 9.4-9.6. I told him in the future they are worth more the $75
