      Rather you should 'reprogrammed" your brain to learn to understand other speakers of English Language. Once I had an American work colleague and we were to have a meeting with another Indian colleague working out of Calgary. While I could understand the Indian buy when he was speaking, my American colleague was "lost" throughout the meeting. I couldn't blame her simply because I am from a part of the world where people speak different languages and dialects so my hearing senses is sort of used to hearing people speaking English in different "tongues". So, who do we blame here? Surely not the guy speaking English using his natural tongue. At least he made effort to learn the language.

    I have one identical to this one and love it. It has made 10 times what I paid for it in the past year alone. However I have had some issues but they're minor. The suspension will give way after a while and let the rear end sag causing the wheels to turn outward. And the engine is mounted on soft rubber bushings which will eventually tear and have to be replaced. But other than that it's a great machine and capable of doing some amazing stuff.

      Runs well, I've used it to repare an access dirt road on my land and it handles even tough stoney ground. Speed wise she's not the fastest but by no means slow, after you learn the controls it works well.
      It could do with being heavier. to get round this I attached it to my jeep or yard tractor for heavy stuff.

      Actually, it's one of the series of small engines within the old Subaru Robin series. Used for many, many years, under various names and badges (Predator, Kohler, Craftsman, and many others). Made by the Subaru corporation until 2016, when certain product lines were sold-off. I believe Yamaha bought at least one of the engine lines, but still the engines are produced in several hp and torque ratings. Some say certain models were copies of Honda engines, but for almost all of the small 1 and 2 cylinder models, Subaru did the design and engineering work. They are the primary engine series approved for use in USA California, where emission standards are extremely strict. My supplier also does repair work, and his objective data shows them to be very reliable engines up to the 400-600 hour range, when pistons, rings, and valves may need service. Parts are readily available and repairs are simple to make, but even so, many users simply get a new one.

    I suspect this isn't an unbiased review, but more of an infomercial from the manufacturer. My concern is durability. It sounds like even under homeowner level use they are breaking welds and having troubles from the motor, pump and cylinders.

      @rhys5567 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey mate, I'm not too sure. It is my first machine and I've only ever used small cranes before with my dad. The engine seems really solid for the price point. It also has solid steel for the price and weight (ie all seems mild and decent thickness). I like the simplicity. The problem I am having, and that problem is preventing its use, is leaks in the lines. Too many leaks in the hydraulic lines to make it economic to use as I run too much oil. I'm not sure if it because it is my mistake, shitty lines, or what. The leaks come from the connections, but before the parts I was required to assemble. Let me know if youd like anything clarified. Rhys

    • @JSC-c
      @JSC-c 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Rhys Wilkie thanks for the heads up, is it a matter or some Teflon tape on the connections to fix it or need new connections all together?
      what’s it like power wise? Is there enough to dig out around tree stumps? Also what’s your thoughts on putting a bigger bucket on it? I’m thinking if I do get one I’d make a wider sand bucket for it but unsure weather the power of it would be sufficient enough to handle the extra lifting load..

    • @rhys5567
      @rhys5567 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey mate, maybe. I need to do some tape experiments. The power is appropriate for a hobbyist. You could get many stumps that aren't in tough positions. But I will take a while and may need a sawsall or jackhammer to get through sole roots and reduce the time taken.
      It doesn't appear to be easy to change buckets. But it could lift more. It is breaking the resistance of the land that the low weight struggles with. If that makee sense.

      Every country makes some junk, and not all junk comes from one country. Try not to generalize too much. Many of their products are very high quality (not all). In fact, many of the "high quality" components come from, and have come from China for a long time.

      I feel your pain on prejudice against china products. Its always hit and miss. I am a master automotive Tech with experience both heavy equipment repair and operation. I am also a welder. I would not consider one of these without that particular skill set. That said, i bought a small piece of property and need to do some dirt work, and for the money, i think that Harbor freight Tools mini hoe will do what i need it to do. At some point when i am done with it, i can sell it and get some money back. Just be aware, once the warranty is up, parts are unavailable. For the engine, you can get those parts. for the rams, you can buy other branded rams. The control block is the problem. The chassis, better know how to weld. I will immeditely add bellows and boots to protect the exposed booms, and ram head seals. I day in sand and the wiper seals are done.
