Sirsi Dam or Sirsi Waterfall is located about 45 km from Mirzapur. The dam is a well built water storage facility and is located close to the Tanda Falls. The site is considered beautiful because the water falls from a considerable height. The natural surroundings and green fauna make a visit an enriching experience.
Sirsi Dam has been 1 of primary eat outside areas close till Mirzapur, which is designed across the Sirsi Stream. Given with elegance, the tank with this Vindhya varies in background provides relaxing environment for the isolation hunters. The tank of Sirsi Dam established through 14 Sluice Gateways has been located at range of 43 kms from location. Sirsi Dam has been clustered through bird varieties from all over this world.
Basically, this is an earthen project and it is being used for the purpose of irrigation. This project was completed in the year 1958. The length of this dam is 3808 metres. This Sirsi dam is having the gross storage capacity of 215 and it is having the live storage capacity of 315 m.
After crossing some range from this Dam, water drops down from greater size, thus developing fountain known as the Sirsi Waterfall. Utilized by street from Mirzapur, Bus service has been never very regular so cab is recommended.
These waters of tank when drops from significant size, an amazing sound as well as view of water is designed before the viewers. The Dam as well as fall of the Sirsi Stream provides another picturesque elegance among sequence of Vindhya.
