- In todays video I played the star wars battleground game on roblox called saber showdown and used the dual wield sabers. What should I do next?

The combat is very difficult to understand for a long while, but if you play the game more it actually makes a lot of sense
Your right but it only took me one day to know the combat cuz both of my friend taught me
Actually the red bar is your health if that low he can't block and if he gets hit he dies and the blue bar is his force he can use that to also do combos with and also where he started the vid there was a place you can see what button is what and they show where you can change the button to your liking and walking does more damage then running

It took me 3 days to understand it and I now have 600 kills after 3 days
The combat is like jedi academy and Jedi outcast
I would suggest any new player to look at the forum that is listed in the game description. There’s a lot to the system that new players don’t know and can help you fight better
I'ma have to say my boy general grievous was my favorite, bro was like the hero killer stain of Star Wars
Hint:the red bar on the ui is how much you can block so if its depleted then you can't block
Also the red bar not only is for blocking but also is for jumping, slashing, and flying. Doing these can slowly deplete your stamina bar
And the blue bar is for the force. If its low or empty, you cant use the force. Just wait for a couple secs and you will have it completely full again
In my opinion fighting in place (not moving much during the fight) is the Best tactic, since you dmg others and when you block attack you almost instantly regen block bar.

@@PRIME_DETECTIVE hints is something that can help so it is. Though it didnt mention anything that could help with stuff, you would know that the red bar is actually something useful to know whether youre able to keep fighting or not
Tips and knowledge:
Stamina: At the bottom there is a circle there is a red bar its ur stamina and if it goes down too much then if u block u will die it goes down if enemy hits u but if u perfect block it will not go down . To regain it just walk by shift btw (shift makes u walk and it makes u does more damage so try to hood shift and block) or u can block to regain red stamina
Just left click to get ur thrown saber back
Dual saber: it has good damage but low stamina but if used correctly you can be one of the best with it and u played good with it ur new so yea ur really good. You can click M and your dual saber will be 1
Jumping while in combat is bad makes ur red stamina go low but a little if u jump too much than alot if not in combat then it's alright .

I hate the fact that everyone that plays this game calls it simple and just another lightsaber swinging game when it’s much more intricate than that. Perfect blocking is extremely skillful and is extremely accurate to actual lightsaber fighting then you have mechanics like disarming which are incredibly hard but is extremely worth it. And extra features such as the ability to challenge someone to a duel which gets rid of the other people and their ability to attack you so you can focus solely on the duel. Also you can hit someone right as they’re about to hit and take tons of stamina from them. It’s a stamina preservation and interval based combat game which recognizes the strength and nature of the lightsaber. I also like how it isn’t a guaranteed one hit either. If you manage to just scrape them and only cut off their arm they’ll be low health but they can still fight. The force powers are extremely hard to pull off since you have to stand there and look at them for so long but objectively the force powers, their counters, and their uses are very intricate. Btw perfect blocking requires you to directly look in the direction of the attack at the right height while blocking. It’s very hard when the person doesn’t have shift lock or isn’t directly facing you. And disarming is even harder. You have to not only move into the hit you have to hold block and press the attack button at the same time which can either disarm them for a basically free kill or the opponent ends up hitting your block and on a failed disarming attempt it takes almost double the block damage. Lightsaber throwing obviously needs some work but they got the concept of using the force to grab your saber down(the lightsaber moves extremely slow though). I wish the forms were more different such as vaders, vaapad, mauls, they all fight different but it looks extremely similar with different hit speeds and blocking capabilities. The different sabers are good they change the game up enough to be useful. Welp that’s the tip of the iceberg but now you know it’s not a “simple” game.
Also when you feel like your blocking and it doesn’t work it’s because you were spamming by and you ran out of stamina, enabling the enemy to get a free hit on you, having a high chance of killing out easily.
Id also say, the different sabers go into account. Like for some reason, dying to someone with a better blade just sucks. It then goes down to just who has more blocks bcuz force choke wont guarantee a kill

Also, when your red bar is almost empty, your block may not work. Using shift or block will refill your red bar
You also press right click to get your saber back after throwing

I love this game, I understand why nobody knows what game this is based on but literally the game is kind of just a really well done rendition of Jedi Knight Jedi Outcast 2. Literally the combat is the exact same and it's such a FUN game, I'm in a prvt server on console and pop in occasionally it's so addicting.
The conbat itself is easy to get into but hard to master, which is what I love about it. You can always find players of all skill levels so learning as you go will be easy.

Warning for new players if you come across someone with a special type of lightsaber run as you can see they are over powered and it's quicker to just buy the special types with robust because if you try to buy them with in-game currency it takes do long
If you run you can’t learn the way the saber attacks and plus they should fight to learn mechanics

@@kinggiggles8716 even with the Style 4 which is probably the most defensive style you will still lose because they are just too quick that they deplete your block point in a few seconds

@@kinggiggles8716 i personally use Style 4 as somewhat a counter to duals, it does hold it's own but they are just way too quick at swinging that even if i walk to conserve as much energy as possible, they will still burn my stamina leaving me very vulnerable.
Also dual has crap Defense which meaning your red bar goes down more so dual is more offense
