Love Liam Nesson and He is the perfect voice of Aslan and Loved him in Shindler's List, Taken, Star Wars Phantom Menace, Michael Collins and Liam Nesson should get an Oscar one day! He was robbed of Shindler's List he should have gotten an Oscar!
LIAMMMMMMM he is one of my favorite actor I am so happy that he was the Voice from Aslan❤❤years I go when i Heard this for the first time love him for years..
I do love the fact that Aslan's VA is Irish, which people tend to forget C.S. Lewis was too. And he does nail the wry sense of humor. But my imagined voice of Aslan is still deeper than Neeson's voice. Even though he's neither English nor Irish my top pick years before the movies were made was Keith David, or someone along the same register.
Aslan represents Jesus. I understand viewers relating other religions like Buddism and Islam to this movie. Because the movie and, more importantly, all the Narnia Chronicles books are loaded with spiritual and philosophical wisdom and lessons. And that is beautiful! Nothing wrong with that. Just wanted to make clear that in the end Aslan is supposed to represent Jesus. And Jesus only. Not Mohammed. Not Buddha. This movie is a story about us and our relationship with Jesus, the Son of God. And the world in which Satan is also on the move. Satan represented as the White Witch. It's a story about the Love, Sacrifice, Grace of Jesus for us. The Word became flesh. Through Him we have been made whole. He surpasses time and space. The Alpha and the Omega. I'll share a little passage from the book which illustrated this for me. It takes place after Aslan was killed by the White Witch, came back to Life and broke the Stone Table. The two girls who cared deeply about Him were nearby: ""Oh, you're real, you're real! Oh, Aslan!" cried Lucy, and both girls flung themselves upon him and covered him with kisses. "But what does it all mean?" asked Susan when they were somewhat calmer. "It means," said Aslan, "that though the Witch knew the Deep Magic, there is a magic deeper still which she did not know. Her knowledge goes back only to the dawn of Time. But if she could have looked a little further back, into the stillness and the darkness before Time dawned, she would have read there a different incantation. She would have known that when a willing victim who had committed no treachery was killed in a traitor's stead, the Table would crack and Death itself would start working backwards. And now- "Oh yes. Now?" said Lucy jumping up and clapping her hands." I would very much recommend anyone to read all the Narnia Chronicles books. They are awesome! I know this sounds corny, but it doesn't make it any less true... Jesus loves you so freaking much. No matter the shit you have done, we all have done. I am a shithole myself haha. But I know I am loved and saved forever. That's pretty coooool. Not my intention to turn this into some kind of preaching. Just know that if you feel unloved or unlovable.. You are so loved, it does not depend on you. Also if you are struggling to make sense of Christianity; to properly include reason, science, philosophy and whatsoever. And I am saying this because I do struggle so myself... I would also recommend looking up Ravi Zacharias on TH-cam. Making the believers think and the thinkers believe. And I would like to read some other books on religion and spirituality as well. What books changed your life? Can be anything. I can learn a lot more myself. :)
I agree. While I totally understand people that aren't Christian having this story speak to them, I think thats likely do to the mythological nature of it that present moral questions that resonate with everyone. It was very intentionally Christian, and I think it's really cool that despite that so many people can love it.
Yes! The witch (Satan) wanted Edmund (mankind's) blood, hence sons of Adam. Aslan (Jesus) sacrificed himself so Edmund wouldn't have to suffer, and he wouldn't as long as he followed Aslan. It's basically the new testament made for children to want to watch.
@@Affasssexactly Aslan is Supposed to be Jesus and the Stone table is supposed to Represent the cross he Sacrificed himself for Edmond and everybody in Narnia and came back to life just like Jesus Died on the cross and sacrificed himself for everybody on earth he Gave his life so those who believe in him will live in heaven with him for eternity
@@stephenking5852 Liam Neeson is Protestant/Evangelical Christian but doesn't practice his religion. He was born in Ballymena during the troubles in Ireland (Which haven't really been settled) Ballymena is a mainly protestant area
If Netflix does not cast him again for Aslan and do not keep the original integrity of Aslan from the original movies there's no point to watching. I'd rather have that old CGI version than any new version. There was so much emotion and heart to that Aslan. I also wish they could use the OG cast now that they're older for the Golden Years, but I know that it's not likely.
looool pretty boring interveiw.. but his voice is badass.. i ended up not listening to word anyone was saying just hearing the rumble of him.. badass... no homo
Do you ever find yourself, Collinsville, kids by the characters names? I know, I would, if that’s how I am. When doing plays in school, I would always call the actor by the cats name. please forgive dictation on my iPhone, but that’s OK. You get the gist of what I’m trying to say. At least, I hope you do.
Well Aslan isn’t Muhammad & others he named because all of them were/are materialistic, prejudice & ends. Whilst only Christ/Christianity is peace/love for all without an end. But still wonderful job Liam!
his voice gives me goosebumps... so deeeep :D
ROAR
It's deep and soft. Sometimes it gives my chills, sometimes (like now) it makes me very happy. Idk why. He's awesome
He has my favorite voice of any contemporary actor.
Still better CGI of a lion than The Lion King remake
Nah the Lion King remake got way beter CGI. The lion looks legit like a real lion which lack emotion and that's what people complain about
💯
Liam Neeson has a marvelous voice which fitted Aslan the Lion from the Narnia franchise.

Your voice sounds so much like Aslan, so that is good for me. Keep up the good work on that role, if any more movies are coming out with him in them.

Since no one else has said it yet: Aslan is NOT Muslim. Not created for that, not written that way. Aslan is Jesus. That's it.
Who says he is Muslim, that would be f'ed up know how Aslan is portrayed.
Is Liam Nelson Muslim? I read online that read the Quran
no one said that aslan is a muslim, you idiot.
@@stephenking5852He once wanted to be a priest, I read. I think he's dabbled in world religions and has returned again to Christianity.
Agreed. It's too bad that entertainers are so woke.
