This was an excellent story. Shane's first appearance and we see just how much trouble boasting can cause for others. I like how you wrote this story and I liked how you got it to end well :).
This is an interesting episode. Now Diesel gets to know how it's like to get tease about being the superior locomotive. And also. S-sta..S-sta...Stanley? 6:48
I wasn't expecting to see Stanley in action so soon! That was a pleasant surprise. I swear I've seen something else with Diesel being sent to the NRM on here (TH-cam).. hmm. Toby looks absolutely massive next to Shane at 7:41-2! :o Nice story. Diesel knows how the Steam Engines felt now, and I like it. I feel like the end was a little rushed, but overall, great job :)
To me, it just felt like the end was a little.. I don't know. Maybe it's just me, but you're right- it is only an opinion. I knew someone else had done it, and I think it worked out well here too! :)
2:39 i think what he meant is refering to Shane, that he was the one who is self decades a long time ago and only himself on the old railway, not modern.
And plus train track 5 of Shane’s brothers are in storage so I guess diesel was right Shane’s class will become outdated in years come and plus 5 members of his class have already been taken out of service so yeah that’s already a sign that Shane’s class will be withdrawn in the next two decades
"If it ever rains, I know a good bucket when I see one."
Give Shane some ice for that BURN.
Where should we keep the ice? In a bucket?
Nice job. You know diesels kind is the most successful diesel design in the world. Some of his kind are still in service even these days.
Daniel Milov I know that
Love the use of D10's theme when they meet!

I didn't rush anything, but an opinion is an opinion. Plus one user who wrote Diesel to to the NRM was Sparkshot, sort of the inspiration here.

It seems like Diesel always pays the price.
Your Shane voice strangely reminds me of the Stanley Parable.
When did Diesel tell a lie about James over Christmas?
2:39 What did Diesel say? I couldn’t quite get that

Nice story; it is interesting to see Diesel get his comeuppance from teasing steam engines. Will we see Shane again or was this a one-time thing?
There are two episodes I've written with him but as a supporting role. There will be more on him but that depends on what role he will be.
What basics is Shane?
Just BlazeDude thx

The most common class 67 nickname is skip, not bucket
Well it’s a nickname I went with according to Wikipedia under nicknames: en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/British_Rail_Class_67
@@NWR1991 Oh ok. I've only ever heard Skip.
@@NWR1991 it was a very good episode by the way.
