When Oasis split, many people thought 'that would be the last we would see of Liam', because we had the perception that Noel was holding the band together. How wrong the critics were. Liam has proven himself to be a refined talent that absolutely will not be suppressed. In my opinion he is the personification of rock and roll.
He is the only one keeping rock and roll alive in the dark age of music

This is not a comparison, but there is certainly an idolization. I made sure to use the word idolization so no one would think I meant to compare them. I forgot I said this, but now that I read it again I think that visually Liam does kind of have a period of time where his appearance is/was very similar to Lennon. As a performer his vocal delivery also mimics that of Lennon. I like all three bands, four bands if you include wings. They are all really great.
Besides Noel, I love his drummer. That Hat...lol.
I don't know why everybody hates the fact that Noel and Liam split. Their songs still rock, and now we have 2x more songs than before.

Hazed 2.0 Good tunes always have choruses. It's a great verse, no doubt about it and the backing track is amazing. They missed a trick there, could've been an absolute classic song.

Blown away. The boy still has it but this is almost more impressive because you can tell he still phucking means every word he's saying. And it is so much more difficult when your his age than it was when he was living forever. Still one of the greatest most powerful vocalists in rock history. Great vid to!

Beady Eye are vastly underrated. I think if this was just a band that came out and had nothing to do with Oasis they would have been classed as amazing. The music is for the most part very different from Oasis so if you're more into the Oasis vibe then this might not cut it for you and that's probably where the majority of fans have came from. It's a shame because Beady Eye are (well, were) fantastic in their own right. Wish the connection to Oasis could be broken while listening to these songs so people could really appreciate just how good they are.

As I said... Everyone has their own opinion (mine being both albums were average at best) this from the two albums was my (mine only) favourite.. Beady eye didn't rise to it I'm afraid (as noel hit the ground running) and he's still doin it.. Liam is a terrific frontman but he's at his best when his brothers alongside him...

I was never a vast fan of Beady Eye, even though I've always loved Oasis. That being said, this song is probably the best tune Beady Eye ever did, and to be honest I prefer this to anything Noel's put out in the past few years. I mean, in terms of the Oasis/Gallagher sound/vibe/shtick/thing, this is pretty groundbreaking for them. I like that there's a political undertone to this one, and it doesn't have the usual "dreams/positivity" lyrical content and the "fade/way/stay" rhyming strategy. I dunno. Good song, anyway.

Agreed.. in face you could argue beady eye have been more experimental than Oasis and NGHFB ever were. FOTF is the perfect example of this. THis song goes against the standard template as mentioned above and ventures into unchartered territory. NGHFB albums just sound very...safe,, at least the other guys pushed their sound out while Noel played it safe and by doing that , the songs just sound very dull. Beady eye may have tried to capture the heights of oasis and not made it but at least they took the risk and took a left turn with the sound...a whole album of FOTF vibes could've been good.
Listen to "Start Anew" and "Iz Right", you'll be blown away as well!

Not Beady Eye's biggest fan, but I must say that is easily their best material to date.
Youre absolutely right there - people want some kind of a climax in the song - but they don't realise that its already dramatic enough. think it takes awhile to fully appreciate the fact that the speech at the end fills the role perfectly...
