I am of course very excited for CC3, but I’m also really excited for The Black Bird Oracle, which is book 5 in the All Souls Series by Deborah Harkness. It comes out in July in the US.
For the book club I’m running on my channel I’m planning on having A Tempest of Tea for our book for March. I’m so excited because it sounds just like Six of Crows and I loved that book.
I was super excited for House Of Flame and Shadow until I found out SJM said you have to read ACOTAR before reading that and ACOTAR is the most intimidating series in the world to me so I have been putting it off FOREVER.
I am currently reading Check and Mate by Aliz Hazelwood and will read pretty much anything by her. Bride, Not in Love, and Somewhere Beyond the Sea are on my 2024 TBR list. 📚
While I agree that The House in the Cerulean Sea didn't *need* a sequel I'm super hyped for it and I know I'll love it. It's been highly requested by fans, and I've been waiting for the announcement since 2021 or 2022 when TJ said he was working on it. I've read most of his books by now so he has my full trust. If he decided sequel could happen it means there's a story there. The sequel also sounds like it's going to explore Arthur's life pre-kids so it'll be super interesting. It's definitely my most anticipated book of the year, I'm just bummed it looks like TJ is now down to releasing 1 [new] book per year after spoiling us for a while. My seond most anticipated release is third graphic novel in the Lightfall series by Tim Probert. It's a cute story and the art is beautiful. I'm also waiting for sequel to Assistant to the Villain. I've only read 25% but I like it, however it ends on a cliffhanger so I'm going to wait with reading it. F.T. Lukens is also set to release a new book in April, and while not all of their books are winners for me, I'll always try new ones out. There are a few Polish books I'm waiting for, I don't know their titles or release dates, but they're either by some of my favourite authors or in series that I enjoyed. Last (but not least) two are middle-grade books - The Twitchers series by M.G. Leonard - 4th book should be released in 2024, and Wilderlore by Amanda Foody is going to get 4th installment as well.
One of my anticipated releases is Celestial Monsters by Aiden Thomas (book 2 in the Sunbearer Trials series), i think September 3. Also Amari Book 3 (although with no name or cover yet, I'm not sure it will be released in 2024)
I mean these books first came out in 2017 and there's only 3 books out. It's supposed to be a 9 book series. At this rate we'll be waiting a couple decades just to finish this series.

Adding the Leigh Bardugo one to my TBR. I agree on loving historical fantasy! I hope that you had a happy holiday!
Added almost all of these to my want to read list on goodreads 😅 CC3 is at the top of my anticipated reads list!
So excited for Tempest of Tea!
For the book club I’m running on my channel I’m planning on having A Tempest of Tea for our book for March. I’m so excited because it sounds just like Six of Crows and I loved that book.
And House of Flame and Shadow is my book club pick for February so I’m excited!

I'm listening to the graphic audio of ACOTAR and I really like it! That might be a way to make it more approachable for you?
I am also so hyped for A Tempest of Tea!
As a disabled person. Im looking forward to Alice Wong's Disability and Intamacy. Because I don't often see that kind of content
Ohh I hadn’t heard of that one yet. I’m definitely adding it to my list because I feel the same way!
@@Sarah.reads.sometimes Its coming out March- April 2024. I believe. She also wrote Disability Visibility if you would like to check it out.
Also super excited for The Familiar! I plan on preordering on January 1.
Definitely looking forward to several of these!
Bloodguard’s release date was pushed to June 25th. It’s one I’m hopeful for. Also Waterstones A Tempest of Tea is gorgeous! I preordered as well.

That middle-grade book nevermore sounds interesting I have to check that out.
I'm looking forward to the new Rosaria Munda book that releases in May. I can't wait to see what else she comes up with.
I'm excited to see what Ali Hazelwood does branching into paranormal.
I always trust your recs!
i am jumping into crescent city next week to get the first two read before book 3! so nervous! lol
I was going to say 14, you're good. I've already got 62 on my list of books to buy in 2024 XD
I’m so excited for House of flame 🥹
Just came to the comments to say that i had that same advent calendar that you have on your window 😁
NGL I am never going to pick up TJ Klune, but everything else sounds great!
His books are beyond cheesy, and nothing special
Should I read Sarah Mass in a certain order ?
ACOTAR, Throne of Glass, and then
Crescent City last
@@sydneys991 thank you
February are only vampire releases and I'm here for it!
I would say The Familiar looks like the sort of thing a book box would pick
Up until now my most anticipated releases are
House of flame and shadow
Empire of the damned
I think the reason Silverborn is delayed is because Jessica Townsend got long covid!

Getting back into discord is what I am looking forward to :)
I MISS YOUR FACE
It’s been confirmed that red god is coming out in 2025
